I am back with another, “What I Wore” post. This time my photog and I hit the streets EARLY in the morning before we both had to report to work. Our schedules have really been conflicting and we haven’t had time to shoot, but we got a few great shots in this yucky weather.

Once again the forecast called for rain. I was going to be stuck proctoring and grading exams all day so I wore:

Here are a few more pics

A Little runway fun down the hall lol.

So yesterday I finally decided to wear a pair of pants that have been sitting in my closet for months. I purchased these XOXO silk cargo pants from Macy’s and they have been ironed and pressed for weeks but they never made it to the forefront of the weekly wardrobe.

What I Wore

I love, love, love, these shoes! I went hunting for them. I called multiple stores and finally found a store that had my size and I snatched them up. They are extremely comfortable and gives me great height. I can run errands in these without any pain.

I bought this necklace a few years ago and I absolutely adore it. I love it because of the multi-layer beading. It goes with almost anything. It is a great conversation starter also.

This weekend I was super busy and I wanted to wear something that was comfortable enough for me to run around from borough to borough.

I love when the summer time is near because that’s when I’m always out and about. You all know about my apathy towards winter so whenever there is a little bit of warmth I am ready to hit the streets. Saturday I met up with Monroe from Fashion Steele NYC and a few other bloggers to attend the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Exhibit at the MET. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take pictures of the exhibit, but it is a definite must see! Alexander McQueen was truly a genius and his creations were beyond amazing.

Since we were going to see the exhibit and I was going to be around a bunch of fashion bloggers, I decided to finally wear my jumpsuite that I got at the Shop-n-Swap a month ago.

What I wore:

  • Fuschia and black polka dot jumpsuit (shop-n-swap)
  • Black Cardigan (? I forgot sorry)
  • Black patent leather peep toe pumps and belt (Boutique in Soho)
  • Multi lyaer pearl necklace (Charlotte Russe)
  • Silver nugget earrings (Jewelry Plaza(

Oh and yes I cut my hair! I wanted a major change and this is it. The shortest I’ve gone before this cut was just a bob, so this is new to  me. I am so loving my asymetrical cut! Click here to see what my hair looked like before
