Event Recap: Stir Up Your Summer with Smirnoff Sorbet!
This past Tuesday I had the opportunity to attend the Smirnoff Sorbet Stir Up Your Summer Girl’s Night Out event held at the Ten Over Ten Salon given by the Glam Network. I could not have asked for a better event to end my night. First, the weather in NYC was simply amazing. The sun was shining bright and the temps were warm and with weather like that who wouldn’t want to have a pampering session with their girls? When I arrived to the event with my friend Kim of Makeup by Kim Porter we were greeted with some refreshing drinks. Now when it is hot a nice cool cocktail is all you need to get the party started. A few weeks ago I was invited to a restaurant tasting at Corlette NY in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. If you know me, you know that I am always looking for new restaurants to frequent so I was excited to try this new place. So here is a little about the restaurant Corlette NY Restaurant & Lounge was a dream that owner Bernard James had for a number of years which materialised in honor of his wife Corlette. The restaurants motto Eat Love Live, is one shared by them both before she transitioned. Young in age, but Corlette Restaurant & Lounge intend to build a reputation that is worthy of praise from its patrons and critics. The restaurant has a great intimate setting.
