Sometimes we avoid facing the truth because it can be hard to handle. Although it is best to face the truth, we try to hide behind a facade and hope our situation(s) turns out the way we have imagined. We sometimes try to protect ourselves or others by not truly sharing how we feel.
When you aren’t honest with yourself, it affects your interactions with everyone around you, so be honest with yourself first and it will greatly improve your relationships with other people.
