So last week Thursday I attended the Shecky’s Girls Night Out event in SoHo. I went with my mom and my cousin (my Shecky partners in crime). This was my third Shecky’s event and I was not very pleased. It was OVER CROWDED even though they selected a larger venue. When will people realize that a larger venue just means more people? Anyway the event started at about 5pm and we got there around 5:30. As we were walking around we stopped at all 500,000 jewelry vendors selling overpriced costume jewelry and accessories. We passed clothing vendors selling over priced spring merchandise at 40% off (I was tempted to buy this flower print tunic when my mom reminded me I have one similar that I’ve worn once or twice lol)  The last Shecky’s event I spent way toooooo much money on hair products, hats, and jewelry that I don’t wear (slaps hand) So this time I put myself on a budget. I was only allowed to spend $100 and I ended up going over that by $20 but for a good reason. Here is what I purchased

I know you are like $120 on that lol. Yes the lipgloss was $5 each as the Shecky’s discount. Usually it runs you about $12. I love their lipgloss because it is not sticky and it lasts a long time. You do not need to layer it on for it to last or show. I bought the gloss in Princess, Nefertiti, and Oshun. Here are some swatches

Here are other products that I have purchased from Jaguar in the past. Their loose pigments are great. You only need a little because the color is intense. Of course it must be applied with the right brush to get the full effect. I also purchased one of their brush sets for about $20 bucks but they raised the price to $35 but it originally goes for about $60 on their website.

The pigments were going fast!

Ok now back to the other things I purchased, the strawberries, chocolate sauce, and cake was for charity. Buy two plates for $5 to help the children at st. Jude’s Hospital. My favorite purchase/splurge (which prevented me from buying overpriced jewelry) were my shades. I absolutely love them!!!! It was between that pair, an olive green pair, and a pewter pair, but I bought the burgundy. The shades were $100, but that’s because they are FENDI. EyeSave.com was there and they had all designer shades at 60% off. So all of the FENDI shades were $100 Gucci $100 Marc by Marc Jacobs $60 Juicy Couture $60 (other brands included YSL, Michael Kors, Oliver Peoples, Armani, Versace and others.) I was at that table for quite a while, there were just toooo many choices. If you have a favorite style of shades and know the style number go to www.eyesave.com and see if they have them at discounted prices.

Sports Bras starting at $75 (discounted price)

Here is a chain that I have been eyeing since the first Shecky’s event (most of the vendors return with the same merchandise)

This table below had the largest crowd. Women of all ages, sizes, and ethnicities were scrambling to find their sizes to purchase these:

SMH there were other ridiculous sayings on the back of these boy shorts but the mob was growing smh.

I also got some really cool goodies in the goody bag too!
