This is reportedly the Official Album cover for her new album The Element of Freedom
I love the second one and it looks more appropriate. The feathers on the dress indicate some type of bird. Birds have the ability to fly any place and essentially they are free to go where they please. They are not bound or restricted and I guess that is the message allicia is trying to send with this album. I’m glad she did not use the first as the album cover because:

She looks great in both photos either way, but please loose the helmet/hood
