The Denim Shirt is a definite must have for the fall! The key to wearing this piece is to wear it with contrasting colors of denim. Example: Wear a light denim shirt with a darker wash jean. If you wore a light denim shirt with light denim jeans it would look like a denim suit…who does that? Well besides Brittany and Justin of course!

The Denim Shirt can also be worn with shorts (same rule still applies, contrasting washes) or even leggings. The shirt should be loose fitting and relaxed. You want to give off the impression of chic but effortless. There are all types of washes for denim shrits but my favorite are extremely light and the darker indigo wash. It can be a little tricky styling the denim in between but I have faith in you fashionistas.
What I love about this shirt is that it can be dressed up or down. You can wear it to run errands Saturday morning or when you’re having drinks with the girls.
I just purchased a denim shirt a few weeks ago from Forever21. I wore mine open, with a white tank, black skinny jeans, and Raspberry heels. I really need to get a new camera so I can start posting more pics 🙁
