Ooooh Girl, Who Told You That You Looked Cute

Posted in Fashion by Janique - Aug 18, 2009

Ok so I was perusing the net…ended up at Glamour and they had the Do’s and Don’ts for the beach. Well beach season is officially here and in order for you to stay away from the fashion police here are a few tips that can help you. You do not want to be a fashion disaster!

Avoid the spillage. The top is too small and the rolled down jeans is pretty lame so find a suit that fits and get a cute coverup

Say no to thongs!!! No one wants to see that…its pretty disgusting
Really? Is she serious? I hope not…sandals please ladies…sandals
Take it back into time…high waisted 2-piece is classic 1950s look

While tiny triangle bikinis look fab on smaller-chested gals, they can be harder to pull off once you get into C-cup territory. (Sometimes “the girls” need a little extra support!)
You never know where a day at the beach will take you. Be prepared for an impromptu date or lunch with the girls by tucking a fun sundress in your bag. Plus, fun patterned versions make great cover-ups for when you’ve had enough sun.
A white bikini that shows off your body is a Do. Just make sure it’s lined.
Always sexy: a classic black one-piece.
bikini—totally cute. The sunburn—not. Next time, try sunscreen.
Do mix and match. Striped-on-top, solid-on-bottom is perfection. (I actually just bought to suits similar to this. One is a black bikini bottom with a white, black, and sliver snake skin top, and the second one is a hot pink and leopard bottom with a black bandeau top) I can’t wait to hit the beach
Other do’s and don’ts include
-Don’t confuse lingerie with swimwear
-Don’t wear your heels to the beach…you are really gonna try to walk in sand in stilletos…smh
-Don’t over accessorize
-Do wear a fly pair of shades!
Until next time…
