Style Files: Weekend Recap

This weeks edition of Style Files features a few of our favorite celebs looking fantastic. From long gowns to printed skirts, we’ve got you covered.

  • Chanel Iman is showing a lot of leg in this black gown.
  • Lala Vazquez knows what prints work for her and she looks fab in this dress.
  • One of our favorite stylists, June Ambrose took of the oversized sunglasses and ruby woo lipstick and went for a natural face to compliment a gorgeous purple gown and sparkly pumps

  • Zoe Saldana said summer isn’t over and went for a vibrant look with the fushcia peep toe pumps and a printed dress.
  • Solange is still basking in the sun with this gorgeous yellow mini, white blouse and red heels. I love her hair.
  • Angela Simmons went for a classic combo in a modern way. She paired a leopard print skirt with red satin heels. Simply beautiful

In Other New: Best Dressed Celebs

Here is our weekly recap of the best dressed celebs. Who has your vote?

  • Garcelle Beauvais- Color blocking is alive and well! The skinny animal print belt adds the perfect touch!
  • Lauren London- The sheer blouse and the blazer makes theis look a lcassic, but the edge comes in with the pants.
  • Kelly Rowland- I am going to recreate this look. I have the perfect top for this and shoes!

  • Zoe Saldana and Lala both look great in their neutrals.

My vote goes to Garcelle. The wide leg pant did it for me!

Style Files: Celebs Gorgeous in Green and Blue

  • Zoe Saldana looked great at the Captain America Premiere in this Balmain ensemble
  • Alicia Keys at the launch of her husband, Swizz Beatz’, collab with Reebok
  • Jessica White rocked a great LGD (little green dress) at the Entourage premiere

  • First off, I love, love, love Eva’s toned down blonde hair. The platinum was a bit much. Now on to the look…can she get any more fab? I mean seriously the navy harem pants offer chic comfort, but the bustier is what brings this look together.
  • Tika Sumpter has yet to disappoing in my opinion. She looks so cool. That hat is everything. This is such a Hamptons look.
  • I need Selita to make up her mind about her hair first of all. I loved the short do on her. It framed her face well and it made her look youthful. Upon first glance I thought Angelian Jolie was sick. On a lighter note, loving the dress and the red lip.

Who rocked it for you? The green or the blue?

Zoe and Eva have my votes but Eva takes the cake!

In Other News: Weekend Recap

My vacation has come to an end. So sad, but the show must go on. Besides the Oscar’s there were other events this weekend as well. Here are a few of my favorite looks from some of our favorite celebs.

I love this look! Kerry Washington rarely disappoints and this dress looks awesome on her. The floral print is bold, but not over powering and the cranberry red pumps completed the look. Oh we can’t forget that fabulous red lip either. I am not to sure how I feel about the leopard clutch, I think it takes the look in another direction, but that does not take away from the total look. amFAR Inspiration Gala

Jean Paul Gaultier and Ricky Martin were this year’s honorees. Kelly Rowland, Estelle, and Cyndi Lauper performed at the event.
