Beauty Must Have: Smudgees

I’ve been meaning to do this post for quite some time now, well since I started using SMUDGEES and I have to say it is better late then never.

SMUDGEES are probably one of the best things that I have in my cosmetic bag. They are small cotton swabs (like a Q-tip) that are pre-moistened with eye makeup remover. They are the first product to enter the market to solve the problems with eye makeup that many of us have. In the morning my makeup is perfect. The liner is neatly applied, shadow is in place, but sometimes, by mid-day, I have little smudges underneath my eye and water alone cannot correct the problems.

SMUDGEES are individually wrapped and can fit in your makeup bag, pocket, or your purse alone. The makeup remover is alcohol and oil free so you do not need to rinse and it dries instantly. I found out about this product at Shecky’s Girl’s Night Out in October and I absolutely love it! Ladies, please purchase this product. Sweet Tooth: Red Hots…Not The Candy

Not the RedHots candy. I absouletly hate these and also Big Red or any cinnamon flavored candy or gum. Candy should be sweet not hot and spicy…anyway make to the matter at hand

The red blazer is definitely a statement piece and will turn many heads. If worn correctly. Don’t over accessorize. Let the jacket be the focus point. Pair with black or dark denim skinny jeans (even distressed) Killer pumps…black and white snakeskin is an option, an all black or grey bootie or over the knee boot. White tee or tank and layer on the chains.

Don’t Call PETA

I was on Essence.com yesterday and saw this pic and immediatly fell in love with the fur vest! I love how it is paired with fuschia dress and boots. The vest gives the look a little bit of an edge. I was in Target the other day and saw some decent fur vests. You have to be careful with the color of the fur and the texture/feel of the fur also. You don’t want to stand near someone and if they brush up against you, they start to itch. You want to be careful with the color and length also because if it is the wrong color or length you will be walking around looking like an endangered species.

What happens when you kiss someone?

According to Dr. Oz touching a person you love sets off powerful reactions in the body. One study by Swiss researchers found that young women who got brief shoulder rubs from their partners before a stressful event had lower heart rates and levels of stress hormones than women who didn’t get massages. Touching also triggers the releas of oxycotin, a hormone that bosts feelings of closeness and canreduce the perceptio of pain. All of this happens whether you kiss, cuddle, hold hands, or have sex. I say do them all more often, How’s that for a doctor’s order?

Well you heard the doctor…go out and be loved and touched…just make sure you are doing all of the kissing, cuddling, and touching with YOUR spouse…and not someone else’s or a random weirdo.
