Taraji P. Henson is definitley one of our favorite fashionistas, but recently she has been spotted out and about hitting up various events in some interesting outfits.

Both outfits have great pieces, but in my opinion the execution was all wrong. I love the brown jacket and boots and it could have worked, but the skirt/dress and glasses? No comment on the white shoes and black stocking…no comment lol.

So what do you say? Rock it or Drop it?

Taraji P. Henson, Amber Riley, Zoe Saldana, and Rashida Jones all looked amazing!

  • Zoe Saldana definitely knows how to rock prints!  The intricate patterns on her dress are so eye catching
  • Rashida Jones glammed up her navy blue jumpsuit with a layered gold necklace
  • Taraji P. Henson’s color palette is perfect for the holiday season. The teal dress paired with the black pencil skirt is complinted perfectly with the burgundy shoes and gold accents.
  • Amber Riley definitely represents for the curvy girls! She shows us how the create a tiny little waist with a gold skinny belt.

Who rocked it for you this week? My vote goes to Taraji.

We had quite an eventful weekend! Take a look at this weekends style stars

Halle Berry, Melanie Fiona, Holly Robinson-Peete

Taraji P. Henson, Tracy Ellis-Ross, Jennifer Hudson

Garcelle Beauvais and Jennifer Lopez

Ebony turns 65 and brought stars like Usher, Mary J. Blige, Nia Long,Taraji P. Henson, and Samuel L. Jackson to help celebrate this milestone in their November issue. I personally think the color scheme is great! The silver/grey looks with the red lettering really makes a strong statement.

I can say the same about the November issue of Essence Magazine which features the beautiful, talented, and fashionable Kerry Washington.

This cover is simply amazing. Everything from Kerry’s hair to her nail polish just make you stare. This issue is about race in America. Kerry Washington was recently on broadway starring in the play Race (I heard mixed reviews, but didn’t get a chance to check it out myself) and in this issue she states “…I don’t want to ignore my Blackness. I  just want to get to the point where my racial identity is simply what makes me unique…” This should be an interesting read.

If I’m not mistaken (correct me if I’m wrong) this is Kerry Washington’s first cover issue for Essence Magazine. It is quite nice to see a refreshing face on the cover. It is also quite nice that Essence is covering a real topic unlike last months issue with Blair Underwood, Boris Kodjoe, and Lance Gross where they “teach” black women how to keep their man from cheating. That’s an entirely different issue…

Kerry has two movies coming out “Night Catches Us” and “For Colored Girls” which hits theatres November 5th.

Lala Vasquez, Ciara, Taraj P. Henson, Melanie Fiona, and Mary J. Blige were all dressed to impress this weekend. From gowns to cocktail dresses, all of these ladies look great.

Who rocked it?
