I have a confession to make, I have not worn heels in quite a few months. This winter has really put a damper on my style. I’m not like other bloggers who know they are freezing dressing like it is spring or early fall in 20 degree weather. I’m not about that life. I’m more about wearing stylish clothes and dressing for the weather. I know that’s rare these days, but a few of us normal people still exist :). Anywho, I’ve been wearing lots of riding boots, suede shooties (it’s like a bootie and a shoe), UGGs (they keep me warm don’t judge), and other ankle boots. Nothing with a real heel and very practical for keeping warm. I will be so glad when those days are over. I came across these beauties below and instantly fell in love!

Miss Selfridge Larissa Perspex Court

These are perfect for spring and incorporating color into your wardrobe. The would go great with tea length dresses, midi-bodycon dresses, skater skirts, pencil skirts, skinny jeans, cargo pants and more! A pump is a very versatile shoe, but what sets this shoe apart from other pumps is the cut-out detail, which will be huge this spring. One of our favorite makeup brands, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) has launched their Spring 2014 line of liptars. The collection “Plastic Passion” features Deven Green and consists of 6 liptars. The collection is available on Sephora.com and OCCMakeup.com and will be available in Sephora on February 28, 2014. It also features nail lacquers and lip pencils.

For Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Spring 2014 is not the season to play it safe! Gone are the demure pastels and flirty palette of seasons past, replaced instead by hyper- saturated hues and technicolor textures. OCC’s PLASTIC PASSION collection delivers its most vibrant lineup of Lip Tar shades to date, in both our Matte and Metallic textures. Lips are lacquered in shades that are bold beyond belief. For Spring, excess is everything! Featuring the legendary DEVEN GREEN as the faces of PLASTIC PASSION!

It’s time to get our bag game together for spring. I’m an advocate for extra large bags and totes, but sometimes I want to be hands free, so a shoulder bag like this Lisette bag from Sole Society is perfect.

This winter has been recording breaking for the amount of snow fall that we’ve experienced in New York City in years. Last time I checked we were at about 55 inches of snow. The total inches of snow that we’ve had last year was at 25 inches and we are not done yet. I’m so over the snow. I have not been wearing anything really nice and exciting because the snow, slush, ice, and salt won’t allow me to be great. This weather is so depressing, but it won’t last for long. Without winter we can’t appreciate spring and the four ladies above have me anticipating one of my favorite seasons.

Regina Hall

Regina Hall

Regina Hall looks radiant in this cream lace dress with scalloped edges paired with strappy platform sandals. Lace is a staple for spring and cream is a great color.

Solange Knowles

Solange Knowles

During New York Fashion Week, Solange killed the street style and slayed the front row. For spring you can try a color block trench coat similar to Solanges wool coat. Let’s not forget about the white pump and light pink suit. Borrow this look from the boys and put a feminine touch on it with a dainty color.

Kat Graham

Kat Graham

I’m loving Kat Graham’s all white look. The white fitted dress with white pumps, and white overcoat is so clean. I love the texture on the dress as well.

Lianne La Havas

Lianne La Havas

This might be my favorite look!. I’m working on my legs now so they can look this amazing in shorts come spring and summer. I love the soft pink and white combination with the loose fitting paper bag shorts and satiny soft pink blouse. This is a great look for a spring brunch with the girls. The white open-toe ankle strap platforms add a perfect touch to this look. It feminine, romantic, and modern.
