Here are a few photos from the red carpet at the New York City premiere of “For Colored Girls” which hits theaters November 5, 2010.

If you haven’t seen it already, check out the trailer below

I can honestly say that Willow is definitely in a league of her own when it comes to style…

But I just can’t get with this look. It is one thing to be creative, but but she has been raised in HOLLYWEIRD so I guess this should be expected…right?

Supposedly she has the same stylist as Rihanna (Mariel Haenn)

Here are more photos of Willow and the rest of the family at Jaden’s premiere

Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith

Trey, Will, Jada, Jaden and Willow Smith

Will and Jada are definitely one of the top 5 most fashionable couples

Ciara was spotted at the Karate Kid Premiere rocking these $800 Chanel Laceup, Canvas, Peep-toe, wedge heeled Boots (say that 5x fast)

She rocked these boots with a pair of white shorts and a plaid button up top.

I think she looks great. I’m going running today to get legs like hers lol.

I will be constantly checking which brand (Steve Madden or Aldo) will have the look for less first!

Two new trailers were recently released for 2 movies that are sure to be hits in 2010. First we have the remake of a CLASSIC the Karate Kid starring Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan, and Taraji P. H enson

This actually looks pretty good! NOTHING will ever top the classic Karate Kid, but I think Jaden has the genes and he is such a cutie!!!

Now we have the trailer for Sex and the City 2

Carrie and crew are back at it again. Let’s see what adventures they take us on this time around in May!

Brownsville We Made It! Lol ok I should not glorify the negativity, but I was born and raised in Brownsville, and this place has helped shape who I am today. I have a Love/Hate relationship with Brownsville. I hate all of the negativity associated with it. Every time I say I’m from Brownsville people would say…”don’t rob me.” SMH Everyone from the hood is not a criminal. I do love the fact that I learned a lot from this place. I learned and realize that I wanted to be better then the perceived person from Brownsville. Brownsville has made me tough and get thicker skin, and also just be thankful I did not succumb to the negativity. Well we are going to see the good, the bad, and the ugly not only about Brownsville, but Brooklyn in general.

Wesley Snipes, Don Cheadle, Richard Gere, and Ethan Hawke have all teamed up for what is projected to be one of the biggest movies of the Spring “Brooklyn’s Finest” from the producers of “Training Day” I don’t think you could have asked for a better cast! You have the “good cop” (Don Cheadle) who is working undercover to bring justice, then you have “the corrupt grimey cop” (Ethan Hawke) who is an opportunist and tries to capitalize on all of the ‘dirty money’ (smh Ethan) then you have the “I don’t care, I’m getting ready to retire cop” (Richard Gere) who just wants to get out of the force because he put his time in. Then you have the big time drug dealer (Wesley Snipes and his extensions lol).

I will definitely be in the theaters. I need to see my hood on the big screen lol…ok not really but it looks like a great movie! Training Day and New Jack City revamped…gotta love it! Check the trailer.

Precious
“Precious” the Movie premiered Friday and twitter was going crazy! I just know that I need to bring some tissue because everyone said they were in tears. I was in tears when I first read Push  and I know seeing the words in action will bring out the same emotions. I can’t believe I actually took a class with Sapphire!!!! That still baffles me! The movie is only playing in select theaters so check the theater nearest you to see if it is playing there. I will be going to see the movie on Wednesday.
Why Did I
SAME CAST, MORE PROBLEMS, MOOOOORRREEE DRAMA!!!
I cannot wait to see this movie!!! I think this movie is by far my favorite Tyler Perry movie. Madea WAS funny, but I’m so annoyed with it right now. The story lines behind Madea are very condescending toward women, because we are always in distress and abused until we are saved by some man…ehhh so annoying, but this story line does not involve Madea and her gun and he focuses on the issues of all married couples, not just African American. I am excited for this!
What about you?
