Singing “Let it snow, let it snow” in my Boys 2 Men voice because that is exactly what happened all day yesterday. The East Coast was hit with the first snow storm of the winter season. I was skeptical about this storm because the weathermen and meteorologist have been wrong about the weather lately. Yesterday after I left church, I had to go to Home Depot to pick up a shovel so I can dig out my car if I was snowed in. I also took my mom to find some snow boots. We went to Target, Famous Footwear, and Marshalls, but the selections were slim. I have a pair of Nike All-weather Condition Gear boots, also known as the infamous ACGs, and they definitely get the job done, but lets face it they are not cute. Even though I am not in dire need of a pair of snow boots, I would like a new pair that is a bit more fashionable. Here are some choices  $100 or less

A black turtleneck sweater is a must for a classic wardrobe. Some women are unable to wear turtlenecks, which is unfortunate, but for those of you who can, stock up on this classic piece. The turtleneck can be dressed up or down and goes with EVERYTHING from skinny jeans, slacks, to pencil skirts. This is definitely a go to piece that add instant glam or coolness to your everyday style. Here are three looks that can be worn with a classic black turtleneck during the fall/winter seasons

I was asked by HGB reader, Tiffany, to find sexy and fun espadrille wedges for the summer. Her problem is that most espadrilles look like they are for old women, but she wants a shoe that won’t age her.

(Marina Espadrille Sandal)

Well luckily for Tiffany, espadrilles, are classic shoes that are perfect for the summer. First, when choosing this type of shoe, go for bright, rich colors like red, cobalt blue, canary yellow, deep peach, emerald or a rich purple. The brighter the color, the better (as long as it compliments your skin tone)

Take a look at the choices I gave Tiffany

  1. Giana Espadrille Sandal Juicy Couture $130
  2. Woven Platform Espadrille Belle By Siegerson $165
  3. Lexi Ankle Strap Espadrille Sam Edelman $75
  4. Rebels Mathilda Espadrille $20 (Originally $65)
  5. Tasia Espadrille Edge INC Shoes $48
  6. Dilly Dally Espadrille Chinese Laundry $54

I hope these selections help. I looked for shoes in various price ranges.
