2013-final

Have you made your New Year’s Eve plans yet? How will you be ringing in the New Year? House party? Club? Lounge? Upscale restaurant? We have a look appropriate for almost any function (except for church). So take a look at these outfits I created to have you  “shine bright like a diamond” *Rihanna Voice” and enter the New Year in a spectacular way.

Look #1 (click the image for product details) For this look I wanted something sexy, yet cool. So I paired multi-color sequins pants with a black peplum top and red blazer for a pop of color. For accessories I added a gold collar necklace, gold cuff earrings, and a multi-colored cocktail ring to complete the look. Lastly a great clutch and pair of shoes are a NECESSITY, but because I wanted the focus to be on the pants I paired simple black peep toe pumps with a simple black clutch for the finishing touches.

Look #2 (click the image for product details) Gold and other metallics are perfect for the New Year. I wanted something classy and sophisticated so I paired this sweetheart sequins peplum dress with gold pumps and gold/glitter accessories. The dress has a hint of rose, so I added rose gold earrings and to the look. Because of the intricate detailing of the dress, I kept the accessories to a minimum. Lastly I would use the Urban Decay naked palette to create a a soft neutral eye with gold highlights.

Look #3 (click the image for product details) I call this my spicy look. The first was edgy, the second was sweet, but the third will definitely take your style game up a notch. I paired a sequins gold bustier top with a black pencil skirt (high-waist skirts are optional). For my accessories I wanted to add a color to break up the black and gold so I went with maroon/burgundy accessories. With this look you get to show a little skin, but also keep somethings to the imagination.

What will be your go to look to bring in 2013?

Temperatures are quickly dropping and soon we will have to break out the sweaters full time. I love sweater dresses for the fall/winter. I always pair mine with opaque tights or leggings and a pair of riding boots. These dresses are low maintenance but full of style. Check out this simple greay sweater dress that is so versatile.

“Lazy Lu This long length jumper with long sleeves has a suprisingly flattering fit. channel this years knitwear movement with lazy lu`s relaxed luxe sweater dress”

The dress is very simple but paired with the right accessories you will turn heads. I would wear it probably with burgundy tights and black riding boots and a statement necklace. This dress could easily be belted as well. It is very casual and relaxed and gives the feeling of a sweatshirt and we all know how comfortable they can be.

Lala Vazquez was spotted at the Hollywood Style Awards in this gorgeous leopard print dress. This dress is sophisticated, yet sexy and Lala is definitely working it. The dress makes a statement and so all of her accessories and makeup are kept simple. I think this look was styled perfectl. *kudos to the stylist*
