We are approximately one week away from Spring! I am super excited. Last week Thursday was just a teaser and this week, will just be heavenly! My spring season started yesterday lol. I pulled out one of the hottest trends for Spring, bright colored jeans, and paired it with two of my favorite classic items, nude pumps and animal print. Check out the look

What I Wore:

Canyon River Blues Skinny Jeans

Leopard Print Cardigan

H & M Tank Top

Nude Pumps by Guess

And yes I changed my hair again :-) I took out my twist. I opted for a curly do. If you remember I did an asymmetrial cut last year and I am in the process of letting my left side grow back. So I am doing a lot of protective hair styles to help with the growth.

This week’s Fab Under $50 features mainly H&M items, but also these gorgeous Vince Camuto earrings. Check it out!

Kimora Lee Simmons was spotted out and about with her husband Djimon Hounsou a few nights in a row. One night was the launch of Just Fabulous where Kimora was announced as President and Creative Director. Here are two great looks that can be worn on a date with your beau.

Date Night

Kimora wore a simple top, skinny jeans, a blazer and a great pair of heels. The look I created used the same pieces, but I added more colore and texture because it is the fall. I also decided to go with an ankle bootie rather than a peep-toe mary jane because the temperatures are quickly dropping. So to achieve this look, you only need a blazer, a nice blouse, a great pair of jeans and killer heels.

Date Night Look 2

This look is just a simple LBD with black pumps and a cobalt blue clutch bag. I always advocate for color. One simple way to incorporate color in your wardrobe is with your accessories, so the clutch bag is perfect.

Sorry for the delay in posts! Fashion week was so much fun, but ridiculously insane! This was also my first full week back to work. I was drained mentally and physically hence the lack of posts, but I am back. So this is one of my looks that I rocked during New York Fashion Week. I believe this was Day 3 or Day 4 I am not completely sure. I attended the Honor by Giovanna Randall and Venexiana shows. After the Venexiana show myself along with a few of my blogging buddies attended a party for Tracee Ellis Ross hosted by Essence.com at Shun Lee. I was featured in their Street Style section and was super excited.

Here is a photo of my complete look at Lincoln Center

My entire outfit (except the shoes) came from H & M.  I actually bought my leopard print pumps from Sears about a month ago.

The Cupid Shuffle brought everyone to the dance floor.

Melissa and Melanie of O So Chic and Makeda of Glamazon Diaries

I love the color palett that we have going on!

Kitty of Kitty Bradshaw.com, Makeda, and Melissa once again.

If it wasn’t for Kitty and Melissa I would have been home at 6pm after my last show, but we walked to the CND Shellac Manicure truck, which was closed, then met up with Nikki of Osei Pr and Teena Leone of Fashion for Breakfast and had lunch. I was ready to go home but Kitty was like girl you better stay and network, which is how I got a chance to meet Makeda and a few other bloggers. After the shows we headed to Shun Lee and had a blast! So thank you to Kitty and Melissa for a great time and a great fashion week!

Saturday I had to run a few errands quickly since I had a ton of things to do that day so I put on my easiest outfit, a maxi skirt and tank top.

What I Wore

  • Purple Polka Dot Tank- H&M- I bought this tank yeaarrrssss ago. It is a size 4. This shirt is proof that H&M sizes have gotten smaller. If I went into H&M today and tried on anything that was a size 4 it wouldn’t get past my neck.
  • Maxi Skirt- Target
  • Cut-out Wedges- Sears
  • Hand Bag- R & Em
