Hey lovelies!

I hope you all had an incredible weekend. Now it is back to the grind-work, school, etc. So like we do almost every Monday, here is the rundown of some of our favorite celebs and what they wore this weekend. Check out this weeks’ style files.

Christina Milian, Brandi and Selita Ebanks went flirty, bold, and sparkly on us this weekend. All three ladies gave us a little leg and great smiles. Brandy’s look is my favorite because it gives such a modern twist on one of Michael Jackson’s signature styles.

Next up we have Naomi Harris, Melanie Fiona and Lala Anthony. Actress Naomi Harris gives us a sweet and innocent take on a all black look. Usually when people rock all black it is edgy or sexy, but this look is on a different spectrum and I love it. Melanie Fiona jazzed up her black and white jumpsuit with printed bracelets and a bold lip. She shows us how to incorporate color in our everyday style without being to overbearing. Last but not least, Lala showed some legs in a red-orange shirt dress, brown laceup peep toe booties and quilted chanel bag. I love color so I’m going with Lala in this set.

Zoe Saldana’s casual look is always on point. Her style can easily be translated for all women. Mel B. has new hair! She rocked a blue jumpsuit with brown accents. Perfect way to pair neutrals. Rihanna didn’t stray from her new look. She kept it edgy with a pair of leather pants, bold leather jacket, and cat-eye shades. Mel B. gets my vote this round. Her look has a touch of glam.

Finally we get to Christina Milian (again) and Meagan Good. Both ladies were at a party for the launch of the new chicken McBites at McDonalds. With these two we get glam and grit. Meagan Good’s look is gritty Cali while Christina spices things up with her accessories and leopard print heels.

Who rocked it for you this weekend?

From classic tailored looks like Mary J. Blige and Rachel Roy to pops of color like Jessica White the featured ladies are bringing it.Tiffany Hines look is perfect for a day like today with all of the rain. She gives a chic yet comfortable look. Kelly Rowland adds the perfect element of color to brighten up the grey dress. These looks are simple but adds the right elements of class and color to make them all pop.

If this isn’t perfection, I don’t know what is! Tracee Ellis Ross looks AMAZING! Yes amazing. It takes a lot of confidence to wear a red suit. All of the attention will definitely be on you. I mean who wouldn’t stop and stare at Tracee in awe in this outfit? I know I would lol. She pulls this monochromatic look off so well. The accented gold jewelry is a great touch.  You can get this look with similar items below. The following items cost no more than $100 and are available in a number of sizes including plus size for the curvy girls.

Pants

Blazers

Shoes

Solange has been killing it even more since she signed with Next Model Management. She has been taking Milan by storm, especially in this green lace dress.

Kelly Rowland kept it simple with a pair of skinny jeans and white blouse. She made her look pop with the peach peep-toes as she performed during Dwayne Wade’s 30th Birthday Bash

Ciara reappeared on the socialite scene after her foot injury at the Knicks game in leather pants and a Rag & Bone leather sleeve denim jacket.

Lala and Kiyan were taking cooking classes and her pink Christian Louboutin Daffodils are TDF which is why they are sold out everywhere.

These ladies brightened up my mid-week lol.

Chanel Iman covers February issue of L’Officiel Magazne. Chanel Iman’s colorful jumper and the blue background of the magazine have me longing for Spring. This will be a long winter…

Another favorite of the modeling industry (maybe not favorite) is Jessica White. She channels Bianca Jagger in this high fashion shoot for Hong Kong’s West East Magazine.

She is gorgeous! There is no denying that.

Some of our favorite fashionistas like Jennifer Hudson and Brandy have both been spotted rocking the Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoo Cap Toe Platforms.

The YSL Tribtoo is described as “A chic suede pump lifted by a concealed platform and slender heel is topped with a shiny patent leather cap toe for a bit of textural contrast”

Shoe Details

  • Approx. heel height: 5 1/2″ with 1 1/2″ platform (comparable to a 4 1/2″ heel).
  • Suede and patent leather upper/leather lining and sole.
  • Made in Italy.
  • Salon Shoes

Well our good old friend Steve Madden has a pair of pumps very similar to the Tribtoos. They are called Beautey-”Beautiful” doesn’t even begin to describe the BEAUTEY in these style-smart heels. The BEAUTEYs have a thick platform that’s hidden under soft suede and a patent leather cap, while their super spiked heel finish off the sexy silhouette of the BEAUTEYs.”

Shoe Details

  • Suede upper material
  • Manmade sole
  • 5.5 inch heel height
  • 1.5 inch platform

Happy Thursday everyone!

I know it is a little to early to do the weekly style recap, but I just couldn’t wait until Friday because these ladies look AMAZING.

First we have Janet Jackson looking radiant in this all black number on the Jay Leno show. She is definitely glowing. Makes me want to order Nutrisystem. lol

La La shows us the perfect way to add color in to our winter wardrobe

Keke Palmer is such a classy young lady. She deserves more recognition just for being positive! She is definitely a great example for the younger generation.

Tika is definitely in my Top 5 of best dressed celebrities. I love the mosaic print dress. Her skin is flawless! Off to drink more water lol.

  • Chanel Iman is red hot in this red dress. She is also rocking one of the trends for spring/summer- the high split. The smokey eye is

  • Jennifer Hudson looks great. I would preferred a shoe with a bit more color, but none the less she looks amazing
  • Kelly is definitely putting in work over in London. That blazer, those sunglasses, those shoes? TDF!
  • Malinda Williams nailed the colorblocking look. This is one trend that I am not getting tired of because it is just so effortless.

  • Cute and casual Bey…minus the Daffodils. The dress is simple and perfect for travelling

Yup, it is Monday again. It seems like the weekends get shorter and shorter as times go on. Well hopefully you had a great and restful weekend. I did not, but that’s an entirely different story for a different blog. Anyway, check out some photos from some of our favs this weekend.

  1. Oprah looked great heading to her hotel in Washington D.C. I am loving the gold pumps
  2. Despite what other blogs are saying about Kelly Rowland’s finances, she looks amakizng with this plum colored dress and leopard ankle strap heels. Great contrast.
  3. Willow Smith whipped her hair, well her candy cane hair, this weekend at the tree lighting ceremony in LA.

  1. Wendy Williams look is simple yet chic. I just recently did a post on a closet staple: black turtneck sweater (click here to read) and she paired hers with winter shorts, tights, and over the knee boots. She nailed this look
  2. Model Jessica White kept her look simple with black skinny pants, lace top, and black blazer. What makes her outfit  pop is her red lip and her metallic heels. Good job. Sometimes it is best if looks are kept simple.
  3. Last but certainly not least, we have Jazmine Sullivan in the Burberry Prorsum boots in black tights and a trench coat style dress. Rocsi looks ok, I love the lace over the knee socks, just not with the stripe shirt.

Who rocked it this weekend? My vote is for Kelly
