Style Files: Celebs in Neons and Prints

Happy Monday!

This past weekend was simply amazing. We had great weather and lots of sunshine. I was able to break out my bright colors and floral prints. Today however, it is very dreary. It seems like we are continuously getting the April showers that never really came in April. Because the weather isn’t so great today we have to live vicariously through some of our favorite celebs.

Lil Kim was spotted rocking neon print leggings, turquoise Guiseppe Zanotti bow heels, and she also did a little color blocking.

I am loving Cassie in this Salvatore Ferragamo printed jumpsuit. The colors are bold and I love how the belt accentuates her waist. The white sandals also adds a great touch and completes the look.

Jada Pinkett Smith has been in promo mode for Madagascar 3 and has been flawless. This Atelier Versace gown is amazing. What I love most about this look is the gold hardware but the color is just amazing on her.

Last but not least Katerina Graham rounds up the crew in a floral and tiger print dress. She looked great . The red lip was also a nice touch

Style Files: Ashanti in Giuseppe Zanotti Bow Platforms

I need to know Ashanti’s workout regimen asap because her legs look Awesome! She hit up Fuse studios in New York City rocking a mod style-color blocking dress and a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti High Platform Bow sandals which retail for $895. These are becoming a celeb favorite. They have been spotted on Adrienne Bailon, June Ambrose, Katy Perry, Angela Simmons, and Jennifer Hudson.

Style Files: Michelle Obama at the Kid’s Choice Awards

I don’t know how many times I can say this but our First Lady is FLY! For the 2012 Kid’s Choice Awards FLOTUS Michelle Obama rocked one of spring’s hottest trend’s which is metallics (Check out our post here on metallic jeans). She paired her gray metallic jeans with black patent leather pointy toe pumps and a sequin, houndstooth v-neck tunic. She looked so youthful!, and do not confue youthful with juvenile. No one wants to put on clothing that makes them look old. This look was fun and age appropriate. Let’s not forget Sasha and Malia. They are just too cute.

Get The Look: Beyonce at the Knicks vs. Nets Game

Hip Hops favorite couple were out and about Monday night at the Knicks vs. Nets game. Being that Jay-z is part owner of the Nets it was only right that he showed up at the game, and of course with Beyonce. So for the past few weeks there has been a lot of hype about Jeremy Lin and him reviving the Knicks (Linsanity). This was also a big game because Carmelo Anthony returned to the court after missing 7, well really 8, straight games. The outcome wasn’t what I expected as a Knick fan (since 1992) but I have to give credit where credit is due and Deron Williams played one heck of a game.

Ok now that I got the sports talk out of the way, let’s get to the real discussion, Beyonce’s outfit of the night. Most female celebs show up to the games like they are going clubbing immediately after. Beyonce always keeps it casual and classy. She wore a pair of skinny jeans, whit t-shirt, Rag & Bone Tuxedo Blazer, which retails for $495 and Christian Louboutin Panama Geometrico Pumps.

Rock It or Drop It: Jennifer Hudson in Polka Dot Tights

Jennifer Hudson was spotted in this uber short black dress with these amazing black polka dot tights and leather wedge boots. I am not feeling the dress at all (hem line is way too short and it looks like something a cheerleader would perform in) but I am loving the tights and boots! She could have paired the tights and boots with some black shorts white v-neck t-shirt and a tuxedo blazer and she would have KILLED it! Well at least that’s what I would have done lol. So should she rock this look or drop it?
