Top Shop Style Challenge: Red Flowy Skirt

I was browsing a few of my favorite sites and came across this red flowy skirt from Top Shop

So here are a few looks that I styled using this skirt from Top Shop

Look #1 features the very popular color blocking trend. I love the shoes in this look. I was a little skeptical about pairing red with yellow…I think of Wendy’s and McDonald’s but I think they work well together.

Look #2 This look is a nautical inspired look. The nautical look never gets old and although it is after July 4th, the look is still summer appropriate.

Look #3 I like to think of this look as the whimsical look. The flowy crop top brings that element out for me.

Look #4 This look is for the breezy summer days or nights. I am not a fan of wearing a scarf in the summer but I know many people who do and that look works for them. This look is also very casual since it is paired with mocassins.

Zara: A Splash of Color

Yesterday I did a post on the color-blocking trend with shoes and today I will continue with this same trend. One of my favorite retailers, Zara, has AMAZING pieces for color-blocking in their April look book. Zara’s take on color is similar to the color blocking trend seen with Gucci.
