One of my favorite shoe¬† brands, Aldo Shoes, has collaborated with young desigern Julian Louie. The collaboration will debut for the 2011 Spring/Summer. The wedge heels were inspired by the book “The Hyena and Other Men,” a photography book by Pietro Hugo showcasing a group of Nigerian hunters and their “animal friends.”

These are definitely statement shoes and will be a great addition to almost anyone’s spring/summer shoe collectlion. What is most eyecatching about these heels are the vivid colors and tribal designs. These shoes definitely tell a great story.

Stay tuned for looks inspired by and featuring these wedges.

We have been hearing so much about the Jimmy Choo and Ugg collection and have seen some unofficial photos of the collection. Well the official photos and ads are out and you can now pre-order. The boots will range from $500-$795. Take a closer look at the collection below.

I honestly am not thrilled by the collaboration. UGGs are already eye catching boots and with the added Jimmy Choo bedazzling its just a little too much for me. The animal print boots look similar to a pair that mant girls have already. If you are in love with any of these boots, you can pre-order them now.
