Let’s be honest when it comes to Keri Hilson, it is always a hit or miss with her. Although there was a point where she was very consistent with her fashion looks and choices, lately she has fallen off of the fashion radar. It wasn’t until recently with the promotion of “Think Like A Man” that we are now really getting to see Miss Keri Baby. For most people, they do not think Keri Hilson’s style is “authentic.” They feel she does not have a style of her own and mimics the style of other celebs like Rihanna, Ciara and Beyonce. While Keri is in a very unique situation it is very hard and almost nearly impossible not to notice the influence of other artist on her style. So with this weeks Style Files Keri Hilson gave us three very different looks. Here is my break down

I call this look “Corporate Chic” Keri pairs some black trousers with a fuschia satin blouse. The color looks great on her complexion and I love the turquoise ring that she wears to add a contrasting pop of color. This look is a hit.

Look #2

This look is not normal for Keri, but I understand that style evolves. She wore floral print pants,  white button up blouse, Cole Haan Lunagrand Wingtip Shoes, Dolce & Gabbana bag, and a pair of Linda Farrow x The Row Sunglasses. I think for me what makes this look a miss is the shoe. She didn’t have to pair it with a pair of heels but a more feminine flat would have paired nicely with the floral print pants.

Look #3

For the third look I can see the red heel so of course she is rocking red bottoms. She also wore the same sunglasses and carried the same bag from the 2nd look in this post.  She may even be rocking the same pants from the first look! Ladies this goes to show that you do not have buy a new outfit every time you go out. the main difference in this look is her top. She rocked a sheer color block top without a bra. That is a big no no. No one wants to see your nipples. I this look would have been a hit, but because of the unnecessary omission of a bra it is a miss.

What do you all think of Keri’s look?
