So I finally did it….yes I, Janique Cambridge, bought a pair of fall/winter shorts. Ok so I always thought it was a bit strange when I saw people with shorts on during the fall and even winter. I used to say…ok it’s time to put those away. Most, not all, of the women who wore them did wear leggings or tights with them and I think last year I thought “Well it is kind of like wearing a skirt with tights but its just shorts.” I can admit I was afraid to purchase a pair, even though I secretly admired this look from afar.

My sister asked me for advice on what she should wear to a party she was going to last January (I think) and I suggested the winter shorts with tights and boots and she looked fab! Again I admired her bravery and confidence for pulling of the look. Well now it is my turn. I purchased a pair from Forever 21.

Now that I’ve gotten over my first hurdle (buying the shorts) it is time for me to actually wear them. I have the perfect boots to wear with them also. Now I just need to put them on. I will keep you all updated with my progress and post pics whenever I decide to wear the shorts. I am planning on wearing them soon…I hope. Who knows, this may be the beginning of a beautiful relationship with me and fall/winter shorts.
