Summers in full swing gentlemen. With the temperatures rising an emphasis is put on to the limit of clothing to be worn. One major trend I see for this season is tank tops. Some of my favorite street brands are putting on a full court press. Labels like Crooks & Castles, 10 Deep, T.I.T.S, Bloodbath & Rocksmith have some major designs for a staple that used to be for women and dudes with major muscles. Well add skinny/slim dudes like Machine Gun Kelly, Wiz Khalifa and yours truly jumping on this trend. Check a few of these looks below and make sure your push up game is on point.

All these styles and more can be found at the mecca of streetwear sites Karmaloop.com and obviously the webshop of each brand. No matter the temp always remember to be cool!

My absolute favorite New York brand 10.Deep unveil their Summer 2012 collection. Presenting various items from tanks to, caps and bags, the entire range is a testament to their diversity in terms of presenting quality and quantity of goods. A host of energetic prints that run the gamut from camo to Southwest-inspired, the collection is clean! Camo seems to be the print this summer and they held nothing back. The tees obviously knock and accessories such as their caps and bags always hit a grand slam. The pieces can be picked up now from the webshop so make it happen cap’n! Enjoy the previews below…

Nobody can deny my affinity for 10 Deep clothing. Every season year after year the collections get better and grow my affection more. For Spring ’12 you can see the use of camouflage huge as well as new denim washes. Camo & denim always a good look for Spring. Not to be back burned is the sweatshirts as well as button downs. I’m huge on details on back of crew necks as well as plaid. They explain the Spring 2012 collection, entitled “Triple X Inc”, this way:

This new collection is the realization of our design work of the last few years. It is, in our opinion, the best mix of our multi-genre vintage, socially-contrarian and distinctive contemporary street wear fashion, yet.
With our minds focused on the product, we produced what is, for us, a very simple shoot to showcase the new goods. New denim washes, some unique camouflage (and non-camo) patterns, lightweight nylon pullovers and vintage washed sweats, alongside the graphic crew necks and lightweight varsity jackets that we’re known for, highlight the collection.
And, in what is an unusual move for us, the lookbook release coincides with a release of new product in the 10 Deep webstore.
The season’s not done yet.  Stay tuned as there is more to come…

Take a look at the collection below and be sure to visit the aforementioned 10 Deep webstore for your favorite pieces.

Southern California street-wear brand Bloodbath has unveiled their Spring 2012 Collection this week, via a new lookbook. For the new collection, the company keeps their signature simplistic approach. As seen in the lookbook imagery, Bloodbath offers a variety of new graphic tees, raglan shirts, crewneck sweaters, knits and long sleeve tees worn by Los Angeles rapper S-Mak. The pieces boast touches of camouflage alongside bold and subtle branding, as well as hints of destruction and anarchy.

Another t-shirt brand straight out of my closet. Now the name might throw off some but don’t judge books by covers..

Our name is meant to be remembered. By definition it is aggressive and violent. By design it is clean and simple. Think of it as a balance between opposites.
Bloodbath is made up of two words.
Blood means life, family, passion, sacrifice, and martyrdom.

Bath means cleanliness, being fully immersed in what you do, as an enjoyable meditation.
Our brand encompasses these aspects and strives to create quality clothing for people that want something different. Many brands claim a lifestyle, for us it’s just style. It’s not a way of life, its simply clothing created for those that really live. A mixture of statement, sentiment, and a story take part of every piece we make.

I love this brand from the simple messages to the creative way they make the styles look just as simple. Bloodbath’s Spring 2012 season will hit their website very soon. T-shirts are a must as temps rise so for more info, visit BloodbathProject.com.
