Luca Luca Spring 2012 Collection

Luca Luca's Spring 2012 collection can simply be described as by Creative Director Raul Melgoza "sensuality." The spring 2012 collection offers a variety of colors such as royal blue, magenta, lemon grass,  seafoam blue and the always classic black and white in relaxed silhouettes that still compliment a woman's body. Luca Luca offered separates as well as dresses and jumpsuits Deep v-necks, cut out detailing and also mixed prints were stars of the show. The cut-out detailing showed just enough skin that would leave a woman feeling sexy, but also comfortable. Along with the relaxed silhouettes Raul Melgoza also experimented with draping, which was done remarkably well. Turbans have been on the fashion scene for quite a few seasons now and they will still update any look for … [Read More...]

Event Recap: Fashion’s Night Out NYC 2011

Yesterday was what people have been calling "The New Year's Eve of Fashion." Fashion's Night Out might be one of the largest events NYC has ever seen. Last year there were huge crowds but this year was insane. I didn't have time to go home and chnage to wear what I originally had planned, so I jumped on the train, straight after work to meet my friend Shara. We had plans on FNO hopping, going to multiple places in one area. We chose Herlad Square and decided to head to Macy's, Lord & Taylor (a few blocks away), H&M, and Sephora. The night was so crazy we only made it to our first stop, Macy's. Here are some photos of my night I wore a printed top, navy blue high-waisted pencil skrt, and I accessorized with burgundy t-strap pumps, gold watch, and gold hoop earrings. Shara wore a black and grey dress paired with a black cardigan and acessorized with black suede pumps and … [Read More...]

Men’s Style: Fall 2011 Fashion Trends

Hey guys! I didn't forget about you. So you want to know what's trending this fall? Well here it goes When it comes to fall's hottest colors it is the same for males and females. Think mustards, burnt orange, rust, forest green etc. My favorite would have to be rust and burgundy Marc by Marc Jacobs Clarence Sweater Garrison Shawl Jumper Express Cashmere V-Neck Sweater Richard Chai Penguin Stripe Cardigan Another trend for males would be the stylish suit. I wouldn't consider this a trend but the fashion gods do. Trends are temporary and I don't think suits will ever go out of style. Other suit trends include loose tailoring which I am not a fan of. I like structure. It makes or breaks the look. Calvin Klein X Suit Theory Dante TM Suit Hugo Boss "James Sharp" Suit Cardigans, v-necks, and classic pull overs are all great for the fall season, but when it gets colder … [Read More...]
