What I Wore: Snakeskin Printed Pants…Really?

Yes I wore snakeskin printed pants and I love them. When I first purchased the pants almost everyone I told or showed were not convinced that I could make these pants work. I think I did pretty good! These pants are probably the most comfortable pair of pants that I own. The material is extremely soft and I love that they have wide legs. I also love the versatility as they can be worn as high waisted pants as well. These babies will get a few more wears before it is time to pack them away until next year, but I absolutely love them! They are by Jaclyn Smith for Kmart (yes Kmart ) and a variation of these pants are currently on sale for $7.99, marked down from their $24.99 price tag (which is still inexpensive). Click here to purchase. What I Wore: I Love My Boyfriend Jeans!

So for today’s look I had to bring out one of my favorite things to wear; boyfriend jeans. Sadly, this is my only pair so I don’t wear them as often as I would like. I purchased these about two years ago from New York and Company and every pair that I have tried on since then has failed in comparison. Although they fit me a little more snug than they did last year or the year before that, I still love them! Yes I know I am extremely excited over a pair of jeans. This is how I used to be with my Joe’s Jeans back in the day. Those jeans were made for my body. I had about 7 pairs, then I gained weight and it was bye bye to Joe’s.

 Anyway, I paired my New York and Company boyfriend jeans with my “Love, Peace, Faith, Hope, Jesus” tank from Forever 21 and a pair of black and cream tribal sandals from Bamboo via TJ Maxx.

I really went down the slide after. It was so much fun lol

I saw a bug…I was focused lol

This is what the world needs!

What I Wore: Lace Top, Denim Shorts, Red Heels

Two in a row?!? I am on a roll! Lol. Today’s outfit post features one of my favorite combinations with a slight twist. I love the classic look of denim shorts and a white t-shirt with a killer shoe. Well instead of pairing my favorite Levi’s denim shorts with a plain white t-shirt, I paired my shirt with my Grandmother’s Lace top from Sugar Lips Apparel and my More Of It platform shoes from Luichiny. Oh and no it is not actually my “Grandmother’s Lace” top, that’s the cute name to describe the even cuter chic, vintage shirt. The shirt is semi-sheer and has a high-low hem, which is awesome! It takes the look up a notch and gives it a more glamorous feel as opposed to a casual feel with a basic white t-shirt.

Believe it or not, I did iron this shirt before I put it on lol

Isn’t the detail amazing?

I will definitely be rocking this shirt in the fall as well. Yes it is sheer and very thin, but I would pair it with one of my boyfriend blazers or oversized cardigans, a pair of skinny jeans or leggings and some booties and I will be ready to go.

What I Wore: My Favorite Maxi Skirt and Neon Crop Top

I don’t remember the last time I did a “What I Wore”  post but this one is definitely long over due. One of my absolute favorite things to wear is a maxi skirt. They are extremely comfortable and low maintenance. They also go with just about any type of shirt. I usually pair my maxi skirt with a tank top or t-shirt, but I decided to pair it with my neon crop top that I purchased from Century 21 eons ago. I wanted to wear the shirt with a pair of high-waisted shorts or jeans, but I never found a pair that I actually liked. Then when I had on the skirt I was looking for a t-shirt and grabbed this. I was like “OMG my waist looks tiny and I have hips!” Not that I didn’t notice these things before, but with this outfit I was really able to see a figure that I didn’t know existed lol. I paired the look with jewelry that I received in a swag bag from an event a few months ago and my Via Spiga clogs. Take a closer look
