I’m always coming up with random new posts series. Today I present to you Wish List Wednesdays where I will feature some items that I would like to add to my wardrobe. I will try to keep the items focused on a specific theme like to day is “For the Office.” I will be going back to work soon and this year I have a new direction for my fall fashion wardrobe. Take a look at the items that made my wish list…oh and everything is under $50. I have to stay within my budget!

Wednesday's Wishlist: For the Office

I love tortoise shell glasses. The are so chic! I think this pair would frame my face nicely. You guys already know how I feel about large handbags and this chocolate brown number from Zara is on point. I love the blue Worthington dress from jc penney because of the bow detail. It is super feminine and with a change of shoes would be perfect for a dinner date. You all know I’m a sucker for leopard print so the Gap flats shouldn’t be a surprise. I’m going for a more functional look this year so I need more cute flats. bareMinerals has some great products and this champagne colored lip gloss will compliment just about anyone who wears it.

What do you think about today’s picks?

Fab Under$50 is back! I found some great pieces from some amazing designers and brands. Check them out!

I would wear all of these items together with some dark denim skinny jeans. The cap toe flats from the Gap are a nice contrast for the Mango “Le Cool” sweatshirt. I always love color so the Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelets will do just that along with the Tory Burch iPhone case, and I am in need of a new case lol.

Which items would you purchase? How would you rock it?

I can’t believe that it is almost time for fall. I mean this summer has been really crazy! We had a crazy heat wave and now we are in the 70s. So I guess to ease my way in to the fall I will start with handbags.

Your handbag can make or break your outfit. Of course you need your all black leather handbag, that is a staple, but there are other bags that you can go wild with to give your look an instant pop!

Structured Handbags

Structured handbags are so bold. I feel like a fierce business woman walking down the street with one. One of the most popular structured handbags is the the Celine bag.

I recently purchased two structured handbags from JustFab using my credits that I have racked up. I have one in cognac and I have one in grey. I’ve only carried the cognac bag and i always get tons of compliments. I can’t to rock both in the fall.

Here are some structured handbags under $100.

I love the versatility that comes with jumpsuits. Let’s not mistake them for the spandex catsuits that everyone seems to be wearing now (especially with the sheer panels). Jumpsuits can be worn day or night. For work I would pair with a blazer and a pair of pumps. For the night time just switch up the accessories and the shoes and you are ready for some fun. Here are five jumpsuits that I fell in love with that would make great additions to anyone’s wardrobe. You have a mix of bright colors, patterns (I really love the African inspired jumpsuit) and textures.

Style Tip: Wear a belt to create a more defined waist when wearing a jumpsuit

I was doing some online browsing and came across quite a few maxi dresses that I really liked. I already own quite a few, but I thought one or two additions wouldn’t hurt. Then I thought about a post on wearing a maxi dress to work and thought, well is it appropriate. My job is pretty relaxed and people wear just about anything (even t-shirts with holes smh) but no one really wears maxis.

Maxi dresses come in a variety of prints, patterns, styles and colors. The only commonality is the fact that they are ankle length or floor length. Some are extremely form fitting, others are more loose. Some expose your bare back, while others provide full coverage. Some are strapless, one-shoulder, or even halter.

I’ve seen women pair their maxi dresses with a blazer or cardigan to make it appropriate for the office. Some also layer t-shirts, crew necks, and vests. The you have the women who do not care at all and have everything hanging out. Depending on the culture of your work place, are maxi dresses work appropriate?
