Archives for September 2011

This weeks edition of Style Files features a few of our favorite celebs looking fantastic. From long gowns to printed skirts, we’ve got you covered.

  • Chanel Iman is showing a lot of leg in this black gown.
  • Lala Vazquez knows what prints work for her and she looks fab in this dress.
  • One of our favorite stylists, June Ambrose took of the oversized sunglasses and ruby woo lipstick and went for a natural face to compliment a gorgeous purple gown and sparkly pumps

  • Zoe Saldana said summer isn’t over and went for a vibrant look with the fushcia peep toe pumps and a printed dress.
  • Solange is still basking in the sun with this gorgeous yellow mini, white blouse and red heels. I love her hair.
  • Angela Simmons went for a classic combo in a modern way. She paired a leopard print skirt with red satin heels. Simply beautiful

Which celeb rocked it for you this weekend?

“It requires wisdom to understand wisdom: the music is nothing if the audience is deaf” -Walter Lippman

I love the POTUS, but the FLOTUS has stolen my heart with this look. Seriously, a floor length black sequins skirt, black 3/4 length top, with a wide corset belt by Peter Soronen. She complimented the look with stacks of black and silver bangles and a silver statement necklace.

She looks amazing! Words cannot express how I feel about this skirt right now. She paired a basic item like a black 3/4 sleeve top and transformed something so casual in to something very elegant. Ladies, if you haven’t stocked up on your basics hopefully this has inspired you to do so. Utilize your entire wardrobe.

Solange was spotted at the Dream Hotel in New York City DJing for Big Sister Beyonce’s “Pulse” fragrance launch.

She wore these amazing Alexander Wang loafers.

Alexander Wang Anais loafer pumps: metallic-pink leather, heel measures approximately 115mm/ 4 inches, tassels, squared pointed toe.

The shoe retails for $650 at Net-A-Porter and also comes in metallic silver, black, and  Click here for more info.
