I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I enjoyed the time spent with family, friends, and of course food. So last week I featured three looks that you could possibly wear on Thanksgiving Day. Well I went with a different variation of the 3rd look with the paper bag pants. Here is the look

Here is what  I wore

I am deeply in love with these pants! They are so comfortable and camouflage the extra bulge. Iwent with a statement necklace, and red lip as well.

So Saturday night I along with a few friends and my sister went to the Watch The Throne concert in Jersey. We purchased our tickets way back in August and at the time they did not have a New York MSG date set, but we didn’t want to risk not going to the concert at all, so we bought tix for Jersey. I am kind of happy we did because the Garden tix were ridiculously priced and you all know that I love me some Jay-Z, but I wasn’t dishing out $250 for a ticket. Anyway, Saturday started off warm but cooled off a bit in the evening hours, which is why I opted not to wear my leather motorcycle jacket like I originally planned. I’ve  been rocking a new hairstyle lately so I wanted an outfit to compliment my hair as well. Here is what I wore

  • Faux Leather leggings H&M– these things are AMAZING! They are so comfy and they give your butt a nice little lift. I will probably purchase them in brown as well because I love them so much.
  • Embellished pear tank top Forever 21
  • Purple blazer Forever 21
  • Black lace up wedge booties Call It Spring
  • Coat H&M

I wanted an outfit that made a statement but was also comfortable. I was literally on my feet for 98.5% of the concert. I had that much fun. At the end of the show all of the girls in heels were limping trying to get to their cars. I learned my lesson from wearing heels to a concert a lonnnnggggg time ago. That is not the move, unless it’s a smaller venue and you’ll be sitting down, other than that flats and comfy wedges are the way to go.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did a little bit of shopping, a lot of eating smh, and I also went to the movies to see “The Help.” I enjoyed the movie more than I did the book. The book was good, but there were too many holes in it for me. That’s another subject for another day and blog. Anyway, here is what I wore Saturday shopping and to the movies

I wore: Forever 21 shorts, American Eagle Loafers, White T-Shirt, Jewelry Street Vendor

I am back from my vacation and I must say I had a wonderful time. My friends and I try to take at least one vacation together at least once per year and this year trip is definitely in the Top 3. We had so much fun! Anyway here is a recap of a few of the outfits that I wore. I honestly wasn’t in the mood to take tons of pictures because I just wanted to be laid out on the beach getting a tan, but here are photos of what I did capture

This is day 1 of the trip and this was my traveling outfit: Black Romper, Leopard Crop Top, Flat Sandals

Day 2: Yellow maxi skirt with slit, royal blue racerback tank, sandals, bold jewelry

I got the skirt for $7. It was all lonely on the rack and I just had to get it.

Party time: Black and white striped body con skirt, royal blue tube top, black peep-toe sling back heels

Day 3: Khaki Shorts, Rust crop top, gold sandals, peacock necklace

We couldn’t go to Puerto Rico without visiting the El Yunque Rain Forest. It was such an awesome experience! This waterfall was so beautfiul. I was in awe the entire time. A few of my friends climbed the rocks and got really close for great pictures. I didn’t have on my sneakers yet so I didn’t climb the rocks, but it was still a great view.

Party Time: Orange t-shirt body con dress, red patent leather belt and shoes, red earrings

Every year we go away we try to have theme nights. So this night was “Caliente.”  You had to wear something red, orange, or yellow. A few of my friends didn’t get that memo and wore blue but they still looked amazing.

All White Night: White baby doll dress, jeweled sandals, bold jewelry

Our last night on vacation we always wear all white. It is an amazing sight to see 6 beautiful black women all tanned and bronzed glowing in all white. Since this was our last night we always try to go out with a bang and we most certainly did! We went  to Senor Frogs and if you’ve ever been there, you know what happens there. I wanted to wear something light and flowy so that I won’t be restricted when dancing and so I can catch a cool breeze.

When we got out of the car everyone in the area were staring at us like we were celebrities. We started waving and asking people how they were doing. I guess I would stare too if I saw a group of friends dressed in all white walking the streets lol. We told the hostess and waiter in Senor Frogs that we were all getting married and this was our last trip before we each tied the knot and then they gave us free drinks. Overall it was an amazing experience and I love my girls to death!

I have really been slacking with my “What I Wore” post, but here is the latest one. These photos were taken on Sunday before I headed out for church.
