My vacation has come to an end. So sad, but the show must go on. Besides the Oscar’s there were other events this weekend as well. Here are a few of my favorite looks from some of our favorite celebs.
I love this look! Kerry Washington rarely disappoints and this dress looks awesome on her. The floral print is bold, but not over powering and the cranberry red pumps completed the look. Oh we can’t forget that fabulous red lip either. I am not to sure how I feel about the leopard clutch, I think it takes the look in another direction, but that does not take away from the total look. In Other News: Weekend Recap
Yup, it is Monday again. It seems like the weekends get shorter and shorter as times go on. Well hopefully you had a great and restful weekend. I did not, but that’s an entirely different story for a different blog. Anyway, check out some photos from some of our favs this weekend.
- Oprah looked great heading to her hotel in Washington D.C. I am loving the gold pumps
- Despite what other blogs are saying about Kelly Rowland’s finances, she looks amakizng with this plum colored dress and leopard ankle strap heels. Great contrast.
- Willow Smith whipped her hair, well her candy cane hair, this weekend at the tree lighting ceremony in LA.
- Wendy Williams look is simple yet chic. I just recently did a post on a closet staple: black turtneck sweater (click here to read) and she paired hers with winter shorts, tights, and over the knee boots. She nailed this look
- Model Jessica White kept her look simple with black skinny pants, lace top, and black blazer. What makes her outfit pop is her red lip and her metallic heels. Good job. Sometimes it is best if looks are kept simple.
- Last but certainly not least, we have Jazmine Sullivan in the Burberry Prorsum boots in black tights and a trench coat style dress. Rocsi looks ok, I love the lace over the knee socks, just not with the stripe shirt.

Weekend Recap: Ladies in Style
These ladies stepped out in style this weekend!
My Thoughts:
- I love Lala’s feathered/fringed skirt with the blazer and booties. I wore a look similar to this, but my skirt was pink.
- Nia Long’s printed dress with the open-toe knee-boots is a great look for the fall. It is very relaxed, yet chic.
- I love the shorts and the boots that Keri Hilson is wearing. I think the shoulders on the sweater are a little to strong and structured for this look. The proportions are not flattering.
- I am not a total fan of Kerry Washington’s total look, but I do love the shoes!

- Lala Vazquez and Christian Milian celebrated Carmelo Anthony’s 26th birthday this weekend.

LaLa Vasquez stepped out looking great. She is rocking the same Versace shoes that Eva Marcille had on a few weeks ago.

Adrienne Bailon and Teyana Taylor are the new faces of the urban apparel line Cavi. Cavi has recently launched their juniors collection and held a fashion show in NYC at Macy’s on Herald Square.
Eva Marcill e and Teairra Marie were in Miami this weekend. I love the Teairra Marie’s dress.
