If you aren’t following me on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram you are missing out on some good stuff! Not everything that I post to social media makes it to the blog, but I had to blog about Sui Generis Boutique

I first learned about Sui Generis Boutique when I was featured on their blog by owner Halimah in 2010 (click here ). She was also one of the sponsors for the FABulously Chic event held in NYC last July.

She has amazing style, especially when it comes to finding the hottest vintage pieces. Yesterday I was going mad on Facebook and Twitter posting some of my favorite vintage pieces. Kerri from A Diva State of Mind lucked out and purchased the awesome leather jogging pants that I posted about here for $85! I ended up buying this Tri-Color Silk Mini Dress for $7 and guess what? It is DVF!

Check out some other great finds at Sui Generis Boutique. Be sure to grab the items you want fast because they are one of a kind!

Nobody can deny my affinity for 10 Deep clothing. Every season year after year the collections get better and grow my affection more. For Spring ’12 you can see the use of camouflage huge as well as new denim washes. Camo & denim always a good look for Spring. Not to be back burned is the sweatshirts as well as button downs. I’m huge on details on back of crew necks as well as plaid. They explain the Spring 2012 collection, entitled “Triple X Inc”, this way:

This new collection is the realization of our design work of the last few years. It is, in our opinion, the best mix of our multi-genre vintage, socially-contrarian and distinctive contemporary street wear fashion, yet.
With our minds focused on the product, we produced what is, for us, a very simple shoot to showcase the new goods. New denim washes, some unique camouflage (and non-camo) patterns, lightweight nylon pullovers and vintage washed sweats, alongside the graphic crew necks and lightweight varsity jackets that we’re known for, highlight the collection.
And, in what is an unusual move for us, the lookbook release coincides with a release of new product in the 10 Deep webstore.
The season’s not done yet.  Stay tuned as there is more to come…

Take a look at the collection below and be sure to visit the aforementioned 10 Deep webstore for your favorite pieces.

I missed Fab Under $50 last week, but now I am back. This week features a great cube bag from Zara.

This bag is a great every day bag. It is large enough to hold the essentials (phone, mirror, lotion, hand sanitizer, lip gloss, comb) but not so large that it will weigh you down. Click Here for details

Williamsburg is definitely one of the “IT” neighborhoods of Brooklyn, NY. Known for its diversity in food, music, art, and its eccentric population and  fashion sense, you will definitely find some interesting places, people and things that will never find in other areas. I was recently in Williamsburg and came upon this vintage boutique: Rabbits NYC. What drew me inside was the rack of vintage dresses for $20 bucks out front and I’m glad I went in.

Rabbits NYC first opened in 2004 and has grown to become one of the most fashionable and visited vintage shops in NY.Models, designers, fashionistas and your modern working women visit rabbits for their fashion fix.

This vintage shop provides their customers with a variety of clothing, shoes, and accessories from many designers.

This is a great place to find quality vintage items. They have pieces that suits all types of budgets.

I don’t know if it is the deep pink walls, or the white and black wall paper, but Rabbits is such an inviting space.

Here is Yuki, one of the associates at Rabbits, sporting a vintage animal print blazer, black dress and opaque tights.

Next time you are in Brooklyn, visit Rabbits NYC.
