Ok so I was over at TopShop the other day and I picked out a few things that I would like to have now. They are definitely not necessities, but they would be great additions to my wardrobe. Check out my picks.

1. LIPS Crop Top by Illustrated People $40

I love the pink and grey combo

2. Bandeau Bodysuit by Annie Greenabelle $29 *sale price*

I love this bodysuit. It is very versatile and you can easily achieve the nautical look with this piece.

3. The Paris Stud by Marc B $35 *sale price*

I love quilted bags. I’m still waiting for someone to purchase my Chanel bag for me 🙂

4. The Little Venice by Marc B. $35 *sale price*

Once again, another quilted bag. I love the color and shape of this one in particular, it screams femininity, unlike the black which is more edgy.

5. Hear and Arrow Stack Ring $18

I love hearts and the detailing on the rings. Very chic.

6. Floral Cup Corset $35 *sale price*

I am in love with flowers this season. If this was about 2yrs ago, I would have never looked twice. I would wear this a few different ways, with a pair of culotte or paper bag shorts to balance, skinny jeans, with a vest or a blazer. So many options.

Ok there you have it! My current must haves!

What are you craving?

In honor of Independence Day which is Sunday, this weeks drink and featured looks are very patriotic.

This is actually one of my favorite drinks from BBQs.

Ingredients

In a large glass pour the blue hawaiian, followed by the pina colada, topped with the strawberry daiquiri. Click the links of each part to find out how to make each specific drink.

Here are quite a few looks that will show your patriotism (I know I went a little over board, lol I wanted to give you quite a few options.)

I absolutely adore rompers! So this set features four, simple, plain colored rompers with different shoes that can either be worn during the day or night.

This is my go to BBQ look. A pair of shorts, cute top, cute sandals and a shoulder bag. I can’t let anything get in the way of my food 🙂

There will be tons of independence day, red/white/blue themed parties this weekend, so here are some great looks for the evening.

I really love this dress…it is only $28 and it is from Top Shop! This is another night time look complete with accessories.

I hope I have inspired you to show your country some support this weekend. I am not big on red, white, and blue but I had a lot of fun making these sets. Of course you are not limited to these options here, but this weekend, go for bright colors and bold patterns. Dress up your rompers with a cute pair of heels, or dress down a dress with a cute pair of flats. Even if you don’t wear red, white, and blue still have fun showcasing your style. Show your independence through fashion.

This workout came right on time for the summer season. We can still get our hips, buns, and thighs bikini ready and this workout will definitely help. With the help of Shaun Dreisbach for Glamour Magazine we will be ready in no time!

1. Kick/Reverse Lunge

Works thighs and the area just above knees

Standing upright, kick up left leg as high as you can. Then bring left leg back to standing, and step right leg straight behind you in a lunge, bending left knee 90 degrees and reaching fingers to the floor, as shown. Push off left foot and quickly return to standing, placing right foot next to left. Do 15 times, switch sides and repeat.

2. Bridge with Leg Lift

Works butt and fronts and backs of thighs

Lie on back, knees bent and feet flat on ground hip-width apart, close to your butt; rest hands on floor by sides. Press hips up, hold, and extend left leg up about 45 degrees so thighs are parallel, as shown; bend left knee and lower foot to floor, without lowering hips, then straighten leg again. Do 15 reps slowly, switch legs and repeat.

3. Squat With Calf Raise

Works (and lifts) your butt; sculpts calves

Stand with feet hip-width apart and hands clasped behind head. Lower into a squat as if you were going to sit back in a chair, keeping your chest up and not letting knees go past toes, as shown. Stand back up, and then rise up onto your toes. Lower heels and return to start. Do 15 reps.

4. Lateral Lunge With Knee

Works hard-to-target outer thighs—no more saddlebaggage!

Standing with feet hip-width apart, knees soft and hands on hips, lift right knee to chest, then take a big step out to the right side, lowering into a lunge, as shown. Quickly push off right foot and return to standing position with knee up. Do 15 times, then switch legs and repeat.

5. Single Leg Squat

Works it all: your butt, thighs and calves

Stand with feet hip-width apart, arms by sides; lift left knee toward chest. Lean forward, then bend right knee to slowly lower into a squat while keeping your balance (left foot stays hovering off floor). Pause and reach hands toward ground, as shown. Return to standing without dropping left foot; do 15 times. Switch legs and repeat.

Here are a few miniskirts that should be your motivation for this workout 🙂
