I was out pre-shopping for a client and walked past Bakers Shoes and saw this ad in the window. After I did all of my pulls for my client I went right to Bakers and purchased my new boo GiGi 🙂 Take a look at my new shoes

Shoe Details

Pamper your soles in this spellbinding wedge sandal featuring criss cross front straps, soft suede material, multi-color stacked wedge, adjustable ankle strap and platform elevation.
H by Halston

Product Information • Heel Height – 5 7/8″ • Platform – 2 1/4″ • Material – Suede • Closure – Adjustable Anklestrap

What drew my attention to this shoe was definitely the color. I mean it is turquoise and teal. Who wouldn’t love this. I was a little skeptical about the height, but the 2 1/4 inch platform makes them really easy to walk in. They are also super comfortable.

They are currently on sale for $75 and come in brown/beige and pink/orange colorways. Click here to purchase

In preparation for building your Spring/Summer wardrobe you cannot, and I repeat cannot, forget about the footwear. As I was browsing Karmaloop I came across the 80% 20 Seanne Shoes. These shoes are currently on sale and will be great additions for your Spring wardrobe. Since we had somewhat of an awesome winter, I am hoping that spring is just as awesome. The Seanne Shoes are great transition shoes. They can be worn with socks or tights now with the chilly temps and when the spring hits go bare leg with these babies. So this weekend went by super fast! It feels like I just left work, but overall it was a good weekend, you can never go wrong with shopping and food. Here are some of the looks I wore this weekend.

I went to a meeting at church Friday night. It was a very nice day Friday, but I didn’t want to change my outfits drastically because clearly, it is only in the 40s today and I refuse to get sick. Anyway this is what I wore

There’s more. Check out my outfit inspired by Lala Vazquez

Last night in NYC, I had the privilege of attending the grand opening of the new Call It Spring Shoes store in Manhattan Mall, courtesy of Shine Media PR and John Simon from John Simon Daily . This grand opening was one of the most anticipated events of the summer and a great way to usher in the Fall season.

Everyone in attendance was able to view the hottest trends in sandals, shoes, boots, handbags, and accessories for the fall season. Music was provided by DJ Reach, and we had delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks (my favorite white wine sangria) provided by Indiana Catered Food. The most exciting perk of this event was the $150 gift card given to each guest. So imagine a room full of bloggers and fashionistas, and a $150 gift card in their hands….it was total MAYHEM.

Call It Spring Shoes offered a great variety of styles and their price points were definitely budget friendly. Being the sister store of Aldo Shoes, the prices at Call It Spring range from $19.99-$119, a great alternative to Aldo. They offered great prices on the season’s hottest styles like oxfords and wedge booties. They also offered great prices on their handbags. The most expensive bag that I saw was $40 and that is not expensive at all.

I caught up with the usual blogging buddies Makeup By Kim Porter, O So Chic, Kitty Bradshaw, The Style and Beauty Doctor, Temple of Glam, The Fab Chick, The Bliss List, KMP Blog, Divas and Dorks, Living Fly On A Dime, Oh My Spry…I hope I did not forget anyone.

Overall this was an amazing event. It did get a little hectic because there were so many people who needed assistance and there was a long wait for shoes, but most people were extremely patient and calm, and the staff was amazing. I was able to score 2 pairs of wedge booties and a cute pair of shooties. The gift bag included cookies from Indiana Catered Food and a cute cross body bag. Overall, I was pleased with my experience and I will be purchasing from Call It Spring Shoes again in the very near future (maybe this weekend lol).
