Hair Chronicles: The Grey Hair Trend Rock It or Drop It?

So I don’t know if I’m really out of touch with reality, but when did grey hair become a trend? I do know that Ty from Gorgeous in Grey has a full head of beautiful grey curls, but it’s natural.

So since Rihanna, Kelly Osbourne, Lady GaGa and Nicole Richie have “gone grey” at different times now many women are running to their hair stylists wanting to take on this trend. Grey hair is a sign of wisdom and sometimes stress. Some women who have grey hair are doing everything they can to hide it and now we have women in their 20s doing everything they can to get it.

So do we love it or hate? Should we just wait to go grey or rush the process?

In Other News: Kim Kardashian and Nicole Richie

Kim Kardashian graces the cover of the February issue of Glamour Magazine this is a typical Kim K spread in my opinion. There’s really no “WOW Factor” here. She is a gorgeous woman, but let’s face it, media is over saturated with the Kardashians

Another socialite turned designer,Nicole Richie, graces the cover of Lucky Magazine. I absolutely LOVE this spread. It is so bright and full of life! Winter is so dreary, but Nicole shows us that there is light at the end of the tunnel and spring will be here before we know it! Peach, floral, turquoise, bright purple, polka dots, and bright red gives this spread life! Thank you Lucky Magazine and thank you Nicole Richie.

Style Files: Week in Review

So here are my favorite looks of some of our favorite celebrities!

My Thoughts……

  1. So I LOVE Rihanna’s look. I am not a huge fan of the bright red hair, but I get the point with her new album being called LOUD. Her hair is definitely loud, but I love her look. (Not really feeling Melody’s princess look)
  2. Solange, Solange, Solange…She is definitely working the turban. This style is definitely for those bad hair days and it so much more classier than your head scarf you use at night. I love the print of the turban and the fact that she kept her look simple. The gold pumps are the perfect match to add a little glam.
  3. Dawn is definitely in shape! I need to do a few (hundred) crunches right now.

My Thoughts…

  1. Selita Ebnaks’ style is so effortless. I love the fact that she went with a neutral face . The dress speaks volumes and so she nailed her look with minimal makeup and a classic up do.
  2. Rachel Roy just looks amazing. The bold red lip really draws attention to her face. The dress is definitely sleek and looks great on her.
  3. I love Nicole Richie and her oversized sunglasses. She kept her look simple with a pair of python red bottoms.
