Simply put, every guy should have a three-piece suit this fall. This really buttoned-up silhouette can look so young and cool. Not only is the three-piece suit a nod to Savile Row and traditional tailoring at its best, but it’s one of the most versatile investments you can make. Remove the vest and you have a two-piece suit, take off the jacket and you have a pairing that’s still equally work appropriate. It’s the ultimate chameleon of suiting. Patterns, plaids, wools, stripes the availability of choices are endless. For a lil bit extra tip check member only sites like Gilt, Hautelook & Rue La La for great deals on suiting from major designers like Tommy Hilfiger, Joseph Abboud, Hickey Freeman, Ben Sherman & Michael Kors.

For many last night was very nerve racking, but now their nerves can be at ease! President Barack Obama was re-elected for a second term! I am overjoyed! Never once did I doubt that my President would be re-elected for a second term. He needs our support more than ever at this point. We have to put pressure on our senators, congressman, and other representatives to work with President Obama to ensure that America moves FORWARD!

I love them!

Congratulations again Mr. President!

On to the fashion….First Lady Michelle Obama wore a deep burgundy Michael Kors jacquard dress, black cardigan, and kitten heels! She looked lovely, as usual. FLOTUS has been known to make the most of her wardrobe like many of us and she has worn this dress before. I’m glad we also get four  more years of great fashion!

Today is the first day of Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2012. Many fashionistas, celebrities, editors, photographers, bloggers, stylists, designers and a host of others will be hitting the streets of New York. From attending shows at Lincoln Center or locations off-site, to visiting some of the hottest press lounges, mixers, and after parties, this week will definitely be one to remember.

I am looking forward to all of the awesome parties and fabulous street style, and all of the runway shows, but here are 5 designers that I am looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us for the Fall.

1.Tracy Reese– her Spring/Summer 2012 collection included fun prints and bright colors

2. Rachel Roy I love how she transforms masculine silhouettes in a feminine way

3. Kort Momolu She has been one of my favorite designers since Project Runway. I love her fearless use of bold colors

4. L.A.M.B. Gwen Stefani is one of the few singers turned designers who’s clothing has real style. Her line can be edgy, sophisticated, and a little romantic. I can’t wait to see what she brings.

5. Michael Kors Do I really need to say why when it comes to MK? He’s legendary and his designs are timeless.

I had to narrow my choices down to five but here is my list of honorable mentions

Carolina Herrera, Joy Cioci, Victoria Beckham, Lela Rose, and Alexander Wang

Mary J. Blige was in Paris during Paris Fashion Week and she attended a dinner honoring designer Michael Kors. She rocked this monochromatic look with a tan/beige jumpsuit, fur, and shoes. Are you feeling this look?

Should Mary Rock It or Drop It?
