While trekking through my Instagram recently there was a photo putting me on to something that should be a coup no longer for just the ladies. The famed Birchbox, which streamlines a way to discover high-end beauty, grooming, and lifestyle products now is available for us guys.

They basically sort through the clutter to send you what works and what’s worth the upgrade. To fully explain no one says it better than the company themselves:

Birchbox delivers the best products and the best insider secrets, without any fuss. Every month Birchbox members will receive a curated box of luxe beauty samples. Each box will span beauty categories and deliver exciting products that fit into both your day-to-day routine, and into those days when you want to turn up the drama a notch.

Co-founders Hayley Barna and Katia Beauchamp met at Harvard Business School. They created Birchbox to help consumers cut through the clutter of the retail world to find products that really work for them.

Based in New York City, Birchbox launched in September 2010 and extended into men’s products in April 2012. Birchbox has been featured by Time, Bloomberg BusinessweekInStyle and Marie Claire, among others.

Each month when you subscribe you’ll receive a selection of samples that have been tried (and retried) from both well-known brands and emerging gems. The men’s subscription delivers top-tier grooming products in addition to lifestyle accessories ranging from hip socks to tech accessories.

Now obviously style isn’t just about what you wear but a full on presentation. Men like women have to make sure the skin and body is up to par. Here is a way to find out whats best without having to climb thru the clutter. The work is done for you and for just $20 a month (more is spent once you step foot in a club let alone by the end of the night) you can go wrong in testing out the latest & greatest in skin care, style & tech. Click the link and see if Birchbox is for you.

Ladies, if you are still unsure of what to get your guy, father, brother, uncle, cousin for Christmas, here is a guide to make the men in your lives a little bit happier on Christmas day.

Guys

So I was reading a magazine and they gave a list of the top 20 cities of where to find a man. The list wasn’t surprising but I’m pretty sure all of you are going to say “WHERE ARE THEY?” That’s what I said when I saw a few places on the list lol, but if you live in any of the cities below, you have the largest selection of available men…If your city is not listed maybe it is time to relocate…

1. Seattle, WA

2. Denver, CO (Carmelo is with LaLa I am not moving)

3. San Jose, CA

4. San Diego, CA

5. Austin, TX

6. San Francisco, CA (If you want a Danny Tanner-Full  House)

7. Minneapolis, MN

8. Dallas, TX

9. Atlanta, GA (I will leave this one alone…smh)

10. Portland, OR (Great for hiking)

11. Houston, TX

12. Las Vegas, NV (Leave the Elvis impersonators alone)

13. Los Angeles, CA (If you like Kobe, I guess)

14. Boston, MA

15. Chicago, IL

16. New York, NY (They must be hiding)

17. Miami, FL (Ok all of you T-Pain and Flo Rida lovers out there)

18. Columbus, OH (Bow Wow?)

19. Virginia Beach, VA

20. Milwaukee, WI

So the new kid on the block, Drake, has been featured in GQ Magazine talking about the importance of the different collars on dress shirts. One of my biggest pet peeves with men is a baggy collared shirt. That is sooo tacky. Especially the “thugs” who try to dress up….yes I see that you are trying, but go an get measured and get the correct size. Shirts with baggy collars and extra long sleeves are not in the least bit appealing. So fellas take notes from Drake and GQ.

This Sunday is Super Bowl 44 between the Saints and the Colts. Many of you ladies will probably be attending a super bowl party or you may even go to a sports bar. Yes you are are going to watch a bunch of men tackle each other, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look cute watching it lol. Here are a few looks that you can achieve easily. You will be comfortable and fly at the same time. Comfort doesn’t always means sweat pants and a big shirt.

Key Items:
Skinny Jeans
Tunic
Comfy boots
Crew neck long sleeved shirts
Sweat Shirts
Casual/Everyday bag
Scarves

Try to pull looks together that do not scream “HEY I’M ONLY HERE TO LOOK FOR A MAN” Looking desperate…

#thatsanono (Twitter TT yesterday lol) Hopefully this helps!
