I’m always coming up with random new posts series. Today I present to you Wish List Wednesdays where I will feature some items that I would like to add to my wardrobe. I will try to keep the items focused on a specific theme like to day is “For the Office.” I will be going back to work soon and this year I have a new direction for my fall fashion wardrobe. Take a look at the items that made my wish list…oh and everything is under $50. I have to stay within my budget!

Wednesday's Wishlist: For the Office

I love tortoise shell glasses. The are so chic! I think this pair would frame my face nicely. You guys already know how I feel about large handbags and this chocolate brown number from Zara is on point. I love the blue Worthington dress from jc penney because of the bow detail. It is super feminine and with a change of shoes would be perfect for a dinner date. You all know I’m a sucker for leopard print so the Gap flats shouldn’t be a surprise. I’m going for a more functional look this year so I need more cute flats. bareMinerals has some great products and this champagne colored lip gloss will compliment just about anyone who wears it.

What do you think about today’s picks?

So I have a style rule that I abide by at least 75% of the time ( I need to do better). That rule is if I can’t get at least three different looks from an item I am considering purchasing then I can’t buy it. Sometimes when I’m in the store in my mind I’m like ok I can pair this with these shoes, these pants, and this jacket, but in all reality it doesn’t happen. In the April issue of Glamour Magazine the article “10 Things We Should All Know About Style” says that we wear less than 25% of things that we own. So instead of letting the other 75% collect dust, let us make the most out of it!

Clare Vivier clutch

Some people consider this print trendy, I consider this a classic. It won’t ever go out of style in my opinion because it can add so much to your look. Leopard print makes women feel sexy and women will always want to feel that way. It is also versatile because it is practically a neutral. It goes with just about everything and can be worn for just about any occasion.

So here are the 5 ways that you can rock a leopard print clutch. Click any of the images for product details!

Look #1- Pair the clutch with an all white dress or even an all white suit

Classic Combination: Leopard and White

Look #2- Meeting the girls for brunch, pair your boy friend jeans with a white blouse, red booties and the leopard print clutch

The Leopard Clutch and Boyfriend Jeans

Look #3- The LBD and leopard go like peanut butter and jelly. This is the classic combination with a touch of red

Leopard and The Little Black Dress

Look #4- Go bright and go bold! Leopard print goes great with jewel tones! Try it with emerald, mustard, or raspberry

Leopard Print and Bold Colors

Look #5- This is a full-proof and safe way for you to mix prints. Leopard print and stripes sound odd but they compliment each other

Leopard and Stripes

I hope these suggestions are helpful! How would you rock this clutch?

This year has gone by extremely fast. I can’t believe that it is almost over. Can you believe that it is Thanksgiving already?!?!? This is insane, but as always I have created some amazing looks that will have all eyes on you and not just the food.

Look #1: The Hostess

The Hostess

For this look I wanted something dressy if you were hosting a formal dinner. So I paired a raspberry colored long sleeve dress with black and gold accents. As the hostess you must greet your guest and make sure everyone is having a great time so you should look good doing it.

Look #2: Meet the Parents

Casual Chic

I created this look if you are going with your significant other to meet his family/parents for the very first time. You do not want to seem like you are trying to hard so a nice pair of black trousers with a bold top (hence the structured sleeves) a vest to add some personality, and of course a printed shoe. The shoes will definitely be a conversation piece. Wear neutral makeup to enhance your natural beauty, and gold accessories for a little bling.

Look #3: Family Fun

A Pop of Color goes a long way

I paired a simple long sleeve shift dress with colored tights and riding boots if you are just having dinner with family and friends. The look is stylish and very comfortable. So if your family plays a lot of games you won’t be out of place. Don’t worry, you can still play Taboo and charades and not feel uncomfortable.

Stay tuned later this week to see the look I rocked for Thanksgiving. I hope these suggestions help you put together a fabulous outfit!

Brandy is definitely in the running for one of the best dressed celebs of 2012. I mean two consecutive Get The Looks on HGB is not easy to achieve lol. She was spotted doing more promo for her album Two Eleven rocking a leopard print crewneck, black leather cap, boyfriend jeans and leather boots. This look is so simple but hot. It goes to show you how a bold print can take your look up a notch. Below you will find some affordable options to recreate this look.

This past weekend I was in the sunny state of Florida where temperatures reached 90 degrees. I was in shorts, rompers, and sandals for three days and then I had to come back home to 46 degree weather. I couldn’t believe my eyes as I watched the news as my plane landed at JFK. It was 46 degrees in New York and I only had a on a denim jacket. Well this weather reminded me of one of the few things that I like about fall, all of my wonderful boots and booties.

One of my favorite pairs would have to be these leopard print wedge booties that I scored last year for $30 on sale. As most of you know I love leopard print and I was on cloud 9 when I spotted these in the window of a boutique in Brooklyn. I just had to take a trip down memory lane. These babies will be making an appearance on my feet pretty soon :)
