Get The Look: Lala Anthony in Attention Dress from Kmart!

When it comes to fashion, everything does not have to be designer or cost hundreds of dollars in order to look good. Lala Anthony proves this with her high-low mixed outfit that she was spotted in recently. Lala paired her Christian Louboutin Summerissima Sandals, which retail for $995 at Bergdorf Goodman, with a Attention Women’s Tunnel Belt Dress, which retails for $17.50, from Kmart.

Looking at the dress you would never think that it came from Kmart let alone the retail price being $17.50. The dress is great for summer and spring. The geometric pattern is definitely bold and eye catching and comes in two different colorways- black combo and multi color. Here are the dress details:

As stated in the product description the dress is flirty, fun, and sophisticated. For a day time look I would pair the dress with a pair of flats whether it be a ballet flat, point toe flat, or a flat sandal, it would give the dress a more casual feel. Pairing the dress with a flat shoe would be great for brunch, an early evening dinner, or even if you are running errands and doing a little shopping. To spice up the look go bold with the jewelry, rock a bold pink lip, and a pair of killer heels.

I am not a fan of the heels Lala chose to pair with this dress. A classic black pump would have been a better option. For a more bold look, she could have chosen one of the accent colors like yellow or even gone with a nude/neutral color pump.

The dress is normally $24.99 but is currently on sale until tomorrow for $17.50. I would advise you snatch this dress up before they are gone.

Style Files: Think Like A Man New York and Atlanta Premieres

On April 20th one of the most anticipated films of the year is will hit the theaters. That movie is “Think Like A Man” based on the book by Steve Harvey Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. The movie stars Michael Ealy, Gabrielle Union, Terrance J, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart and more. The all-star cast has been doing a lot of promos and recently premiered the movie in Atlanta and New York City. Take a look at some of the looks our favorite fashionistas rocked on the red (and black) carpet.

Lala Anthony definitely knows what colors and shapes work best for her. This dress looks amazing.

Gabrielle Union simply breathtaking! Not only is the color gorgeous but I love the hint of turquoise in her ring. It really adds a nice touch.

Keisha Knight-Pulliam I love this look. Her hairstyle ages her a bit, but the full floor length skirt with the high split and the cropped top look amazing on her.

Selita Ebanks and Terrance J

I love how all of the ladies’ looks reflected some aspect of spring. Whether it was with nudes and neutrals, floral prints, coral colors, or brights they put their own unique touch on popular spring trends.

Style Files: Lala Anthony in Miami

Lala Anthony has been busy this past week. She’s filming for the 2nd season of “Lala’s Full Court Life” and also recently launched her makeup line with Motive Cosmetics- check the post. Take a look at a few of the  looks she rocked while in Miami.


Lala is always well put together. She never over does it with the hair or the makeup. She knows how to use color and prints to make a look pop.

Style Files: Weekend Recap featuring Lala Anthony, Brandy, Rihanna and more!

Hey lovelies!

I hope you all had an incredible weekend. Now it is back to the grind-work, school, etc. So like we do almost every Monday, here is the rundown of some of our favorite celebs and what they wore this weekend. Check out this weeks’ style files.

Christina Milian, Brandi and Selita Ebanks went flirty, bold, and sparkly on us this weekend. All three ladies gave us a little leg and great smiles. Brandy’s look is my favorite because it gives such a modern twist on one of Michael Jackson’s signature styles.

Next up we have Naomi Harris, Melanie Fiona and Lala Anthony. Actress Naomi Harris gives us a sweet and innocent take on a all black look. Usually when people rock all black it is edgy or sexy, but this look is on a different spectrum and I love it. Melanie Fiona jazzed up her black and white jumpsuit with printed bracelets and a bold lip. She shows us how to incorporate color in our everyday style without being to overbearing. Last but not least, Lala showed some legs in a red-orange shirt dress, brown laceup peep toe booties and quilted chanel bag. I love color so I’m going with Lala in this set.

Zoe Saldana’s casual look is always on point. Her style can easily be translated for all women. Mel B. has new hair! She rocked a blue jumpsuit with brown accents. Perfect way to pair neutrals. Rihanna didn’t stray from her new look. She kept it edgy with a pair of leather pants, bold leather jacket, and cat-eye shades. Mel B. gets my vote this round. Her look has a touch of glam.

Finally we get to Christina Milian (again) and Meagan Good. Both ladies were at a party for the launch of the new chicken McBites at McDonalds. With these two we get glam and grit. Meagan Good’s look is gritty Cali while Christina spices things up with her accessories and leopard print heels.
