Last night was the historic MET Gala and this year they celebrated PUNK, from Chaos to Couture. The star studded event is always a major highlight in the entertainment industry. This is when your favorite stars pull out all of the stops because this is one of the hottest red carpets to walk. So I will give you the run down on my favorite and not so favorite looks of the night.

I can’t say that I had an absolutely favorite look but these are my Top 4 looks in no particular order

King Bey slayed the red carpet in Givenchy. The train was what made this dress! It commands attention.

Katie Holmes version of punk was really regal and angelic. I loved her train as well and the back of the dress was amazing. (Thinking of wedding dress ideas lol)

Sarah Jessica Parker is a littly quirky but it works for her. Only she could pull off a head piece like this.

Jennifer Lopez really does anything wrong in my eyes. This Michael Kors gown fits her like a glove.

Now for the looks that I loved but didn’t make my top

Solange, Kerry Washington, Cameron Diaz had the blues and they all look amazing.

Madonna, Nicole Richie, Miley Cyrus These ladies embodied the theme of Punk: Chaos to Couture There were mixed reviews about Nicole Richie but she slayed this theme.

Lala Anthony, alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj Lala was my favorite in this bunch. I loved the sleek look of the Zac Posen dress. Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj were a little underwhelming.

Lala was my favorite in this group. I love the color of the Zac Posen dress. Alicia Keys and Nicki weren’t terrible but a little underwhelming.

Kim Kardashian was bashed up and down social media yesterday. I felt bad for her. I tried to find the most flattering picture, but this was clearly a poor choice. She has not been winning in the fashion department during this pregnancy.

What were your favorite looks of the evening?

Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe are definitely business women. Say what you want about them (I know I do all of the time…well mainly Kim) they are great entrepreneurs. The highly anticipated 41-piece collection launches August 11th. This line truly resembles the style of the 3 sisters. They have everything from body hugging cut out dresses to jumpsuits. The line also features handbags, shoes, sunglasses, and lingerie.

What I love most about this collection is that nothing is over $70. So you can still be fly and not pay designer prices. If you do not want to wait until August 11th, you can preshop the collection now on Sears.com. They are currently having a promo deal 72-hour pre-sale with everything 30% off.

Here are a few of my top picks from the collection

About QVC Super Saturday

Haute in the Hamptons! QVC is, once again, teaming up with Ovarian
Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) to broadcast QVC Presents Super Saturday
Live from the Hamptons. This special two-hour “designer charity sale,”
which is scheduled to air Saturday, July 30 at 2 PM (ET), will feature
premier fashion, beauty, jewelry, accessories and home pieces at HALF
the manufacturer’s suggested retail price* with net proceeds
benefitting OCRF.

Select brands scheduled to be featured include Laura Geller, Peter
Thomas Roth, L’Oréal Paris, philosophy, Judith Ripka, Amrita Singh,
Honora and B. Makowsky. Additionally, contemporary sportswear line
TART Collections is scheduled to unveil its versatile yet stylish
Infinity Dress in a brand-new teal color, especially designed to
support ovarian cancer research and education.

The prestigious Super Saturday sale now reaches QVC’s 98 million U.S.
homes, allowing shoppers throughout the country to purchase designer
brands at a fraction of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price
while supporting OCRF. Currently in its 14th year, Super Saturday will
broadcast live for the fifth consecutive year”

Last week I attended the preview for the event to come on Saturday and if you follow me on Twitter you saw the products I tweeted and how I gave the model a “disguise.” The concept behind the “style and disguise” promo stems from Ovarian cancer disguising itself as a less serious illness. This is why it is important to visit your doctors yearly.

The model is actually wearing the Tarte Infinity Dress. It can be styled in so many ways hence the name “Infinity Dress.” This color was created especially for the Super Saturday Live event.

Three of our favorite fashionistas were spotted at a New York Knicks game last week. All three women have three very different looks going on and it’s like are you sure they were in the same place?

I love Lala’s look so you know who my vote is for. Kim’s look is ok, I am not a fan of the jacket, but Angela -____-. I’ll leave it at that.

So what’s your verdict? Vote below
