Style Files: Weekend Recap

Starting off this weeks Style Files are Yaya Dacosta, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kerry Washington, Estelle and Keri Hilson. 

  •  I love the ombre effect of her dress
  • Yaya looks equally amazing in a long black satin gown with gold capelet
  • Tracee nails it each and every time. The embellished sleeves make this look pop
  • Estelle went for a feminine edgy look with a long flowy maxi and leather jacket to complete the look
  • Keri Hilson has been wowing us lately and she looked amazing at the soul train awards

  • DJ Kiss is showing us how to look sophisticated when rocking a fur vest. I love how she paired it with a denim shirt and penicl skirt.
  • Zoe Saldana is definitely a forced to be reckoned with and this look shows why
  • Jennifer William from Basketball Wives Miami looked great at the launch of her lip gloss line Lucid. Her pink Louboutins are hot!
  • Kelly has been having the best style year ever. She looks gorgeous
  • Serena has had a few mishaps lately but she shows us how simplicity can go a long way.

Style Files: Weekend Recap

With the chilly temperatures celebs definitely bring out the fur just like Monica and Kelly Rowland.

Monica gave us an “All Black Everything” look with a black fur vest, black skinny jeans, black long sleeve top, and black OTK boots.

Kelly mixed up her look with a caramel and white fur vest, blue skinny jeans and black laceup boots.

We haven’t seen Eve on the scene in a while but she came back looking amazing. I love the nude booties with the all black look. This look will definitely have people doing double takes.

Solange must not have been in New York this weekend because she is definitely dressed for summer (so jealous. She paired her gold sandals with a printed black, white, and orange skirt and a white blouse. She added the right pop of color with a flirty pink lip.

The Run Down

  • Jennifer Hudson looked stunning is this leopard print dress and black satin pumps. The dressed was very flattering to her figure
  • Kelly looked equally amazing in this coral gown
  • Melanie Fiona gave us a little bit of edge with the printed jumpsuit and black heels
  • Zoe Saldana is definitely one of my favorites because all of her looks are so timeless

Thirsty Thursday: O So Chic-Tini

Yes Thirsty Thursday is back! I don’t remember how long it has been, but that’s not the point.

This weeks drink is the O So Chic-Tini. I first has this drink at O So Chic’s 3rd Anniversary Tweet-Up at the Empire Room earlier this year.

Ingredients

  • Coconut Ciroc
  •  Peach schnapps
  • Pineapple juice

Method:

Mix the coconut ciroc, peach schnapps, and pineapple juice in a shaker and pour in a martini class.

In Other News: Weekend Style

As usual, some of our favorite celebs were  out in style this weekend.  Here are a few of our favorite looks this weekend

  • Selita Ebanks looked amazing in a simple black jumpsuit. What I love most about her look is the flower accessory in her hair. It is the perfect amount of color.
  • Christina Milian looked amazing at the BMI awards rocking a cutout canary yellow gown.

  • Rihanna stepped out in style on her last day of her Europe vacation. She wore a sequined bandeau top and wide leg pants. Her body is sick #ThatIsAll
  • Ciara kept her fit cool and casual. White button up blouse, burgundy ombre pants and a fierce Christian Louboutin pump. I love her hair.
  • Kelly’s look is really laid back at the Hollywood Give Back fundraiser. White blouse, skinny jeans, gucci belt, and a statement shoe.

These ladies definitely rocked it this weekend!
