Another day, another trend.

Summer style is in full effect  and one trend I am seeing daily both on celebrities and people on the street in NYC is the head chain/chain headband.

This Egyptian inspired look adds something special to your hair when you don’t feel like doing much with it and almost anyone can pull this look off.

The chain looks best when your hair is either in a high bun, ponytail or when your hair is down and parted in the middle.

Personally, I love the trend and have already bought 2 chains from ASOS (my fave!!).

Check out some of the celebrities who’ve been spotted sporting this look:

What do you guys think — Rock it or Drop it??!

I’m always looking for different hair styles, especially during the spring summer. I went back to sporting my asymmetrical cut which is now an asymmetrical bob because of the significant hair growth from my 3 ½ months of protective styling. Here are some hairstyles that I absolutely loved this week!

Solange: I posted a photo of Solange a few weeks ago with this luxurious mane of curls. I love big hair. This just looks amazing.

Monica: I wasn’t a fan of the ombre effect on hair because most people that had this look just looked messy. Ciara, Lala and a host of others are rocking this look with blonde. I love this hair style on Monica because of the auburn color. It is rich and probably not too damaging since the hair is not bleached.

Angela Bassett: Her short cut is perfect for the spring and summer. Although I am not interested in cutting my hair again I think this look suits her well.

Yaya Dacosta: I told you all I love big hair. Yaya is such a natural beauty and so this look is perfect for her. As long as the temperatures do not rise so quickly you can sport this look for a month or two. When it gets to hot I wouldn’t suggest such volume.

So I have been through many hair changes since 2010. I’ve had bangs, highlights, asymmetrical cuts, inverted bobs, high pony tails, doobie wraps, senagalese twists, just to name a few lol. I’m now in the process of looking for a new hairstyle for the spring/summer. I will be making my appointment soon to cut my hair even. I have the craziest asymmetrical style right now lol. Since my hair has been growing back since October it is now at a length where I can even it out and not look crazy. So for the latter half of spring and the entire summer I need a look. I am thinking about getting a curly weave like the look Solange is rocking but weaves in the summer are tough since it is HOT. I am so confused but this is a look that I am definitely considering.

What hair styles do you guys rock for the spring/summer?

So Saturday I debuted my “new look.” Someone at work asked me if I was going through a midlife crisis because my hair has changed three times in three weeks. I thought that was pretty funny. I simply stated I haven’t found the right look as of yet so I am just experimenting. In last week’s What I Wore post I had curly hair, today I have bone straight hair with a blunt bang. I like this look a lot. I am going to stick with it until the summer time.

Last year I cut my hair in an asymmetrical style but now I want it to grow back. I don’t regret cutting it at all. I loved the hairstyle at the time, but now I just miss my hair from 2009. So I have started a new hair regimen and currently doing protective styling to aid with getting my hair healthier and also longer. Enough hair talk let’s get to the clothes!

Rihanna has gone back to the blonde hair. Yes, she has gone back. Everyone is up in arms about her new hair, but this isn’t the first time she’s rocked a blonde do.

This is the first time however that we’ve seen her with long blonde hair. I must say that I like it. She is one person who can pull off almost anything. I don’t like the blonde messy hair with the dark lipstick though-it reminds me of Courtney Love, but when she first debuted the look at the basketball game I was in awe. She looked amazing.

What do you guys think about her new do?
