Bling It On! Glam Hpnotiq Logo Version 1

I’m sure if I asked you to name a few women who do not like shoes it would be pretty difficult. I mean with the variety of shoes such as ballet flats, platforms, peep toes in any color and almost any material who would not love shoes? You can even turn your trash in to shoes, Christian Louboutin did and charged a boatload of money for them as well.

I used to be a big time sneaker head, mainly throughout high school and my early years of college until I had to do a performance for the dance team in a pair of 4 inch pumps. Can you say struggle? Well ever since that moment I fell in love with shoes.

Ok Janique where are you going with this, well with Hpnotiq, you have a chance to cash in on probably one of your greatest investments, your shoes! With Hpnotiq #GlamLouder you can Bling It On! By submitting a pic of your fiercest heels or heels that you have been secretly stalking like I have been these neon color block Giuseppe Zanotti Heels that retail for $700

These three looks feature classic pieces that have been in major rotation in my wardrobe. Picture 1: Black Riding Boots Picture 2: Coctail Dress Picture 3: Black Maxi Skirt

As you get older you begin to mature and look at life from a different perspective. This may not be the case for everyone, but this definitely applies to my life. I have a confession to make…I used to be a binge shopper. I used to be a shopaholic. I know this is the case for many women, and some people do not even consider this a problem but it was for me.

While in college and a few years after I graduated I would spend my hard earned money on clothes and accessories. I wasn’t concerned with saving or paying any major bills because I “lived for the moment.” I would always end up at the mall and go from store to store racking up on all of the latest trends. Whenever I was going to a party or to dinner I would HAVE to buy a new outfit. Repeating looks was not my M.O. So I shopped, and I shopped, and I shopped. I would waste so much money on trends or things that I would wear only once. As I sit here and write this post, I think about all the money I could have saved and trips I could have taken if I was more responsible.

I guess this comes with growing up; you recognize your mistakes and you make better decisions. So out with the old and in with the new! I have learned to become a savvier shopper. I plan my purchases carefully. I’ve found that my wardrobe is more polished now that I plan my purchased. Before, my closet used to be filled with trends. I would have pieces that I wore once and never wanted to wear again. I would shop on impulse and end up wasting money because I would never wear some of the pieces. Now that I have a more defined style, I find buying pieces a lot easier. Also I can help my clients define their personal style and avoid making the same mistakes that I did.

Breaking my binge shopping habit was one of the best things that I could have done. My OLD ways of shopping were not healthy or productive. Now with my NEW found perspective my fashionable life is a lot less complicated.
