When do we put our tights away? This picture was taken earlier this week out in LA. I know that we may still have some cool days, but opaque tights in May in LA? I think this look would have been better without the tights. So what do you say: Rock It or Drop It?

I am sure most of you have seen these pics, but just in case you haven’t Janet Jackson has done the unthinkable! She chopped off her tresses (or got rid of the weave) and is now rocking a short do!

Jennifer Hudson’s post baby body looks absolutely amazing! You can tell in her posture and stance that she is more comfortable and confident. Kudos to Jennifer on her weight loss and keep looking fab! Here she is at the Cannes Film Festival. She plays Winnie Mandela in a biopic alongside Terrance Howard.

She looks gorgeous! I love her hair. She makes me want to get a weave lol

She is wearing an Ashish sequin top that says “Same Old Chic” which retails for about $620. If you have $620 laying around the house go for it, but since its debut the top has been sold out everywhere!!! So ofcourse I have to find a similar look but for much less. I bought a much needed denim jacket. Denim jackets are perfect and goes with just about anything. You can throw it over a maxi dress for those cool summer nights or wear it with a tunic and some leggings while running errands. It is definitely a necessity and I love the worn look of this jacket. I also bought a pink tribal print skirt. This is something quick and easy to throw on if you are running late or just want to be comfortable. My favorite purchase would have to be the pearl necklace and bow tank. The bow is actually a pin so I can wear it with other items, but it was only $10 bucks and it can be dressed up or down. All of these items were purchased from Forever 21. The jacket was $25 and the skirt was $10.

I don’t know how she does it but keep it up!

Sometimes it is always better to keep it simple. A simple trench and a classic pump! The color is what makes this look hot! Oh and of course a little leg does help lol

Exposed Zipper Floral Skirt for $24.99

I love skirts like these because they are so fun and easy to wear. So if the girls call last minute and say they want to do brunch, just throw in this skirt with a tank, so flats, a necklace and 1 or 2 big bangles and call it a day.

Military Front Tube for $5 (original sale price $14.99)

I have a few things to pair with this military/nautical stripe tube top. I’ll most likely wear it with some dark denim or white shorts or some skinny jeans (you can’t go wrong with those) I think I may even pair them with some white khaki style pants. Of course with a red wedge heel! Lol

Once you are done with your purchase they will offer you $100 value in merchandis which is pretty much just magazines lol. They give you up to 4 selections. I already subscribe to a few so I chose Harper’s Bazaar because my subscription recently ended. It was only $2 to activate the subscription also. Not bad in my opinion.

Everything else I wanted was out of stock for my size or I just wasn’t interested. I’m learning not just to buy things because they are on sale. So I spent $37.43 including the $5 shipping and handling and taxes and the 1-yr magazine subscription. Not bad. A great start for my spring/summer wardrobe. I’ll  continue to post my future purchases.
