Last night was the historic MET Gala and this year they celebrated PUNK, from Chaos to Couture. The star studded event is always a major highlight in the entertainment industry. This is when your favorite stars pull out all of the stops because this is one of the hottest red carpets to walk. So I will give you the run down on my favorite and not so favorite looks of the night.
I can’t say that I had an absolutely favorite look but these are my Top 4 looks in no particular order
King Bey slayed the red carpet in Givenchy. The train was what made this dress! It commands attention.
Katie Holmes version of punk was really regal and angelic. I loved her train as well and the back of the dress was amazing. (Thinking of wedding dress ideas lol)
Sarah Jessica Parker is a littly quirky but it works for her. Only she could pull off a head piece like this.
Jennifer Lopez rarely does anything wrong in my eyes. This Michael Kors gown fits her like a glove.
Now for the looks that I loved but didn’t make my top
Anne Hathaway, Taylor Swift, Chanel Iman
Solange, Kerry Washington, Cameron Diaz had the blues and they all look amazing.
Madonna, Nicole Richie, Miley Cyrus
These ladies embodied the theme of Punk: Chaos to Couture
There were mixed reviews about Nicole Richie but she slayed this theme.
Lala Anthony, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj
Lala was my favorite in this group. I love the color of the Zac Posen dress. Alicia Keys and Nicki weren’t terrible but a little underwhelming.
Kim Kardashian was bashed up and down social media yesterday. I felt bad for her. I tried to find the most flattering picture, but this was clearly a poor choice. She has not been winning in the fashion department during this pregnancy.

Coachella is in full swing and our first post features none other than Ms. Kelly Rowland.

Beyonce has been under a lot of fire lately because of her latest single “Bow Down/I Been On” but that has not stopped her hustle! H&M just released one of the first images of their collaboration with Beyonce for their Summer 2013 Campaign.
According to Vogue the pieces are inspired by Beyonce’s individual style. Beyonce gave her input from a design aspect as well. The advertisements come just in time for Beyonce’s World Tour. The campaign’s theme is “Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M.”
Beyonce states “I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”
The campaign features swimwear and beachwear pieces – including a bikini from the H&M for Water collection, which raises money for WaterAid according to Vogue.
We will aslo get new music from this campaign! They shot a television commercial which will feature one of Bey’s new songs, hopefully off of her new album, called “Standing On The Sun” which will probably be the song of the summer!
