Happy Sunday everyone! I wanted to share a quick What I Wore post with you all. I’ve had this New York and Company dress for a little while and I have been dying to wear it. Every time I think about putting the dress on something always deters me from being great. Well today I was able to finally wear this dress that I adore. When I saw it on the hanger I was like “ok this is interesting” but the most interesting (my way of saying weird lol )pieces on the hanger always end up looking fabulous on the body. So here are the details

And yes I have changed my hair again! This has been my “thing” for 2012. I recently took out my brazilian body wave tracks and went for a totally  new look. I didn’t want a full head of senegalese twist again because I didn’t want to spend hours in the salon so I went for a different look. I have cornrows going in to twists. The right side is actually twisted so I have somewhat of a half and half look. I love this style and the fact that I don’t have to do my hair in the morning. I have been on a roll with this protective styling to add some length to my hair. I think I’ll continue throughout 2012 switching up the style every 6 weeks or so depending on the condition of my hair. So there you have it! What I Wore and my new hair. Until next time!

Well Ladies, the warm weather is here and it looks like it will be staying!

I love hot weather but I don’t like being hot & sweaty (not a cute look) so I tend to opt for dresses and rompers during the warmer months as they keep me a lot cooler and comfortable.  Aside from dresses and rompers being a cooler choice I personally love the lady-like and versatility wearing dresses gives you – they are great for work and casual wear, you can dress them up and down etc. Rompers and Jumpsuits also can be worn for work or play (depending on how you style them) and I decided to add them in this mix since I’ve had a mild obsession with them lately! :)

My favorite choices can be found at ASOS, Forever 21, Fashion to Figure and Dorothy Perkins!

Melanie Fiona performed on the CBS “The Early Show” this past Friday, wearing this Lipsy Polka Dot Belted Dress from ASOS.

I love the heart detailing. It is playful and sexy, not skanky. The dress retails for $82. Click here to purchase.

This past weekend fashionista Solange Knowles was in Vegas at TAO as the guest DJ. She rocked this amazing mixed print dress from the Boxing Kitten 2010 Resort Collection. She also rocked some YSL heels.
