We have yet another celeb/brand collaboration for you guys and this time it comes from Cassie and Forever21. With the upcoming release of her new mix tape “RockabyeBaby” Cassie will be doing major promo with Forever 21. According to Grazia Daily the collection is called “Forever LA.”

The Forever LA collection has two parts, the West Side and the East Side. The East Side is inspired by 90s urban Los Angeles style with vintage and alternative style pieces – think Fresh Prince of Bel Air. While the West Side embodies the laidback vibe of LA with abstract prints, vibrant sneakers and crop tops. The campaign is shot in LA (obvs) and Cassie poses in front of a hipster bike in a massive pair of shades and a graffitied tree trunk, then hits the beach in loud geometric prints.

Cassie is the perfect person for this collection. Her style is very “LA.” It is urban and edgy and that embodies one of the main aesthetics of the brand. She actually started incorporating pieces of the collection in her new music video “Numb.”

Forever 21 is a great place to shop for trendy pieces at affordable prices, so I’m sure with making Cassie the face of the spring summer campaign people will flock to get the pieces because they love her style. Happy Tuesday everyone! A lot has been going on in the fashion and beauty worlds lately. There have been collaborations galore! So let’s jump right in to all of the hot new collaborations in fashion and beauty.

First off, RHOA star NeNe Leakes unveiled her new shoe “The Nethia” through online shoe boutique Shoe Dazzle. If you aren’t familiar with Shoe Dazzle, you sign up and fill out a questionnaire based on your style preferences and then each month a selection of shoes are sent to your online boutique. Then you are able to choose what shoes you want to purchase for the month. NeNe’s shoe, The Nethia, will retail for $39.99 (like all of the other shoe dazzle shoes). It is a black and gold strappy platform heel. The straps are black lace and the platform and heel are gold along with a front zipper.

Rapper Azealia Banks has been making a lot of noise in the fashion world having collaborated with Alexander Wang. Although she is now starting to reach more of a mainstream audience, she is lining up some amazing deals. In today’s society people love those who are raw and uncut and that is definitely Azealia. She is now taking her talents over to the beauty industry and is teaming up with M.A.C. Cosmetics. September 5, 2012, the eve of Fashion’s Night Out, you will be able to purchase her lipstick “Yung Rupunxel” which is the name of her alter ego, online or in-stores for $15. The shade is described as a deep plum which is one of Banks’ signature lip colors. M.A.C. is no stranger to teaming up with female rappers. They have collaborated with Lil Kim for Viva Glam and also Nicki Minaj on her signature Pink Friday lipstick.

Last but not least Nylon Magazine has teamed up with Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics to create the “Nylon” lip tar, a bubble gum pink with a neon twist. OCC is one of my favorite cosmetic brands and their lip tars are AMAZING. A little definitely goes a long way with lip tars. Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe are definitely business women. Say what you want about them (I know I do all of the time…well mainly Kim) they are great entrepreneurs. “MAC Cosmetics has announced that Nicki along with Ricky Martin will take over the Viva Glam campaign starting in February of next year. Both Nicki and Ricky are already busy at work in Miami today living la vida loca at a photoshoot for the new ads. 

The two are following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper who currently represent the brand.
