As we get further into the end of the year and the days advance as the temperature drops (even though it seems mother nature is on menopause), your style must adapt. Your outerwear must be as fly as your sneaks or your double breasted cardigan.  The way I see it you need as I call “go-to’s”. Here are 3 choices that will keep the cold out and the eyes on you.

Pea-coat

To me the most versatile jacket you can own. Pair with jeans/cardigan or even over your suit. Not much needs to be said as we’ve all seen this men’s wardrobe staple. Virtually any of your favorite designers will have a pea-coat in the Fall/Winter catalog.

Varsity/Letterman

By far the one jacket that will never be out of style. Obviously, we all couldn’t be jocks but we can look like we were on it. Whether you need to run some errands or your running with the squad you’ll stay warm and look hot. From leather patches, emblazoned logos & quality felt applique there’s going to be one to fit your style.

Vest

For those days when the temp is on that unusual kick this can be paired with a hooded sweatshirt or just your favorite plaid button-down.  And its not just for those casual dates or running in the hood. Companies like Banana Republic have vests in luxe materials to be paired with your business casual attire.

These 3 suggestions I have in a variety (colors, materials). What will be your outerwear go-to’s?
