Now that boot season has officially arrived, although many people wear boots all year round, it is time to pull out those boots that you have been dying to wear. If you feel your boot collection is slightly limited, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. One of the biggest trends for the fall with footwear are studs. Yes studs have been around for quite a few seasons and people stud everything from their sneakers, to their headbands. The 5 boots that I’ve chosen are not the typical boots you see everyone wearing like the studded Litas, or Lita look-a-likes, studded heelless wedges, studded wedge sneakers, and even studded combat boots. I gave a variety of styles ranging from knee boots to ankle boots. I tried to pick styles and colors that are not only fall appropriate, but also functional. Some studs are subtle, others are more flamboyant. Either way each shoe will upgrade any outfit.

5 Must Have Studded Boots
  1. The wine/burgundy color is what attracted me to this shoe
  2. These would go great with a pair of jeans, a skirt, a pair of shorts, or a dress
  3. The studs going up the back of the leg is a nice surprise
  4. I call these boots “Rocker in the Wild, Wild West”
  5. The color of this boot makes it a staple and can be paired with just about anything

Hey ladies!

It’s been a while since I did a post on “What I Wore.” The past few weeks the weather hasn’t been that inspiring and so my looks were basic. However, this past weekend was BEAUTIFUL! I took full advantage of the sun shine and pulled out my wedges, maxi skirts, and short dresses. I didn’t snap a picture of my look on Saturday but Sunday I did and here is my look.

I posted about this dress a while back when Lala Anthony wore it in black, grey, and yellow. I’m a sucker for color so I went for the bright blue, orange, purple, and yellow. The dress is really comfortable as well. The material is soft and felt great against my skin. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. It wasn’t tight or restricting and it even enhanced my figure.

I paired the dress with my H by Halston wedges that I got from Bakers. Everyone made it seem like I was 7’ 5” tall with these shoes. I felt regular lol. The shoes have 3 different shades of color- blue, green, and teal. It complimented the blue in the dress very well.

What I Wore

I was out pre-shopping for a client and walked past Bakers Shoes and saw this ad in the window. After I did all of my pulls for my client I went right to Bakers and purchased my new boo GiGi 🙂 Take a look at my new shoes

What drew my attention to this shoe was definitely the color. I mean it is turquoise and teal. Who wouldn’t love this. I was a little skeptical about the height, but the 2 1/4 inch platform makes them really easy to walk in. They are also super comfortable.

They are currently on sale for $75 and come in brown/beige and pink/orange colorways. Click here to purchase

So I saw this top and a look instantly came to mind. So here it is

The cardigan makes this great transitional outfit. Crop tops can still be worn early fall if layered correctly. The cardigan will provide a little bit more warmth on those slightly cool days. You should never be afraid to wear color, no matter what time of year it is.
