Spring Trend: Fringe Bags

posted by:

Yes we are going to the west with this look. Some people love it, others hate, but this spring you will be bombarded with fringe. Hopefully we won’t see anyone walking around in a fringe vest, with fringe boots, a fringe bag, and a fringe belt. That is just a tad bit too much. To pull off this look just keep it simple. Pair your basic skinny jeans, shorts, tank tops, or plain t-shirts with a cute sandal and a simple necklace and a fringe bag. Here are a few options that will definitely turn heads and the best part, they are all $50 or less.

  1. Leather Tassel Cross Body Bag $40 TopShop
  2. Billa Bong Mary Jane Bag $35 PacSun
  3. Leather Fringe Shoulder Bag $25 Forever21
  4. Faux Suede Fringe Bag $20 Forever21
  5. Fringe-Detail Shoulder Bag $50 Yes Style
  6. Dark Eyelet Duffle Bag $50 Asos

This bold sandal is essential for the spring time. Pair with neutrals like khaki pants or shorts or even with bold brights and pastels. The Banana Republic Huarache sandal has a very unique earthy feeling that can transform any outfit. I really like the jewelry that Jennifer Lopez is wearing in her “Louboutins” video and I came across some jewelry on another blog that looked similar and low and behold it was exactly the same pieces made for J. Lo. The collection is called Noir Jewelry and they have some great pieces.

Sweet Tooth: All I Want For Christmas…

posted by:

Last week on Twitter, I started my #Christmas list…I said I wanted dry erase markers, and some of my followers were like “you’re kidding right?” I really wasn’t, I was actually serious, but that was just the teacher in me talking. Here is actually something that is on my Christmas List for 2009. I will post my current obsessions for Christmas until the day before and let’s see if my family and friends get me what I want :-) (I hope they do lol)

Jewelry

As my jewelry/accessory collection continues to grow, I find myself running out of space. I am currently using four different jewelry boxes to store all of my accessories. I’ve been wanting to get a jewelry armoire for quite some time now and I think it is time. I spent 15 minutes untangling two of my favorite necklaces and that was such a hassle. This armoir contains:

  •  four drawers
  • Top lid with a mirror
  • 2 side doors
  • Necklace hanger and ring roll
  • 2 small and 2 large drawers

Jewelry2

This armoire is onl $69 and it can be purchased at Walmart. They have other great selections also, but I just love a cherry wood finish. It is so classic.
