"First say to yourself what you would be; then do what you have to do." Epictetus One thing that prevents a person from achieving their goal(s) is the fear of moving forward. We often resort to staying in the past because it provides a level of comfort. We are afraid to face our fears of the future because we have no control over it. Yes it would be great for us to plan our lives to the t, but that is not how God works. In life we must progress and that requires change. Change is the only constant in life and without change where would we be? Progression indicates movement toward achieving that goal. We were not put here to remain stagnant.
