UPDATE! The Ultimate Guide to Black Friday 2013 Sales!

Black Friday is only a few days away and while many stores will be opened on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday will still be the biggest shopping day of the year. So here are a list of stores and deals that you can find the great deals.  Remember my post about how to prepare for shopping on Black Friday? Well if not here are my 5 Tips to help with the madness on Black Friday.

So I’ve compiled a list of some of the biggest deals for Black Friday. Get your lists together. This is the best time to get your Christmas gifts and a few presents for yourself 🙂

Beauty Bubble: OCC #ModernCraft Fall Colour Collection with Calpernia Adams

Since Fall is officially here I think it is time that we get into some hot beauty purchases for this season!

It’s no surprise that Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics is a fan favorite of many makeup artists, beauty gurus, and makeup lovers, me included. At the event with Calpernia Adams in my gift bag was all 6 lip tars and all 6 colour concentrates. I’ve only worn the stained lip gloss, but now that fall is here, I can dip into the other colors.

Made in America Festival Survival Guide featuring @NIVEAUsa

We’re only four days away from one of the summer’s biggest music festivals! I haven’t started packing for my little Philly weekend getaway because I’m making sure I have everything I need to “Survive Made in America.” Thousands of people are going to be in attendance and there are strict rules. Once you are in the festival you stay in until you are ready to leave because there is no re-entry. So I’ve come up with this little survival guide to get you through the two-day festival.

The website specifies what you cannot bring

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Fireworks or explosives
  • Illegal or Illicit substances of any kind
  • Outside food & drink (except your factory sealed water)
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Flyers, handbills, posters, stickers (no solicitation allowed)
  • Chairs
  • Glass containers
  • Skateboards, motorized vehicles or Scooters
  • Coolers
  • Professional recording devices or cameras (no-detachable lenses or tripods or other commercial uses)
  • Glowsticks
  • Laser Pointers
  • Items to obstruct other fan’s views (kites, flag poles, large signs, etc)

Here is what you can bring

  • Blankets, towels
  • Umbrellas (small hand held only)
  • Factory sealed water bottle (1 per person up to 1 liter)
  • Empty water containers, empty Camelbacks
  • Non-professional cameras, flip-cams
  • Non framed backpacks and bags (subject to search)
  • Encouraged items: sunscreen, sunglasses, government issued ID, cash/debit card.
Remember to stay hydrated! Water is key especially in the heat and if you consume alcoholic beverages.

RiRi Hearts MAC Summer Release June 18th!

I missed out on the initial release of RiRi Woo  Rihanna’s debut collection with MAC and I won’t let that happen again. Tomorrow June 18th at 12pm EST MAC will release the second phase of the Rihanna Hearts MAC Collection.

This go round you can expect the rerelease of RiRi Woo and two additional matte lipsticks RiRi Boy– a bold and vivid shade of lavender (that matte version of Up the Amp which is very popular amongst beauty lovers every where) and Heaux (ha!) which is described as a matte deep berry.

The collection also features lustre drops which is basically liquid bronzer appropriately named Barbados Girl. Bronzer is a must to get the island glow for the summer

Lastly you will also find Hibiscus Kiss which is a coral blush and bronzer duo
