My Thoughts
I did not use the soufflé (mousse) because my hair has been straight for the last few weeks and I only use mousse when I am wearing curls. I used the shampoo, conditioner, and dry shampoo. The shampoo is a great for clarifying, but what is great about it is that it is not drying. The shampoo did not leave my hair hard like some clarifying shampoos. The conditioner was very moisturizing. It was easy to detangle my crazy hair since I am in the process of transitioning to texlaxed/texturized hair. My hair was very soft and my hairdresser was able to roller set my hair with ease. The dry shampoo is something that I just recently started using a few months ago. The dry shampoo removed a lot of the oil buildup and gave my hair more life and bounce. I think the volumizing kit gave me great results. My hair had lots of body and movement. It was very moisturized and I was very pleased with my results.

Recommendation: 4/5 I would recommend this kit. I would not use the shampoo each week because it is clarifying, but it works great and the conditioner is very moisturizing.

  1. Your Hair Will Feel Dirty When Transitioning from Regular Shampoo to Using a Conditioner Wash If you’re going to start skipping shampoo I have to warn you that at first your hair may feel dirty until you get used to not having lather. It does take time to get used to not having bubbles. You may want to transition by alternating the conditioner wash with your regular shampoo for a few weeks, and then going every two days, then three days, etc., and thus slowly weaning yourself off your shampoo as you get used to the feeling. Also, if your hair is fine and limp this method may not work for you because the conditioner at the roots may way your hair down.

  2. If you’re not conditioner washing, then where have you been? Do you get up every single morning to go through the tedious ritual of shampooing and then conditioning your hair for a wash n’ go hair style? Well, listen up! Stop shampooing right now!

  3. People often ask me about dry shampoo. I’ve never used it. I’ve read about it, learned about it at beauty shows, and I’ve seen it available everywhere from Walmart to Sally’s to professional salons. I’ve always been a traditional shampoo kind-of-gal, and on days that I don’t wash my hair, I’d just style it however made the most sense. You know, pony tails, headbands, and hats. When Kristi, a representative from Freeman Beauty , suggested I give Pssssst! Dry Shampoo a try, I didn’t think I’d love it as much as I do.
